After Christmas Family get together

It was a very enjoyable stay! Plenty of sleeping for all who attended! Close to Grapevine and train! Enjoyed both!

Owners very accommodating

The property was clean. We had some issues with the game room, but the owner was very sweet and fixed everything that was missing. It does not have a spa tub like it says, but overall, it was a great stay.

Nasty

The grass in the backyard wasn’t cut for the kids to play. The trashcan was absolutely disgusting, the floors were dirty, the showers were dirty, the game room was absolutely disgusting looked like a college boy dorm. The pictures on the site were absolutely nothing like it was in person which was absolutely disgusting. Do better

clean place-pictures misleading

The place is clean and the property manager is very responsive. That being said, the house did not look the same as the pictures. The floors were in disrepair (property manager said they would be replaced soon). The cabinets and drawers were in disrepair and the hot water in the shower was not working. The towels and linens were older and could use replacement. The bed was older and sunk in the middle with 2 people on it. While I believe the property manager would have worked with us, we chose not to stay and leave early.

Not clean

I’ll start by saying that the only redeeming part of this stay was the owners communication and willingness to help. Other than that this was terrible. The sheets were dirty, the bathrooms were dirty. The master bath drain was clogged and backed up w dirty water. The floors were dirty. We found dirty laundry in the bin. The house itself was dated but would have been acceptable if it had been clean. The game area and living room were fine. I contacted the host

Dirty home

Nice hosts! However their home was not completely clean upon arrival. Dishes were dirty, specially the silverwear we had to wash all of them, pillow case ripped, towel with mascara stain, coffee table dirty and sticky. Not to mention how somethings were not working correctly. We were 8 adults and a baby. The kitchen doesn’t have enough utensils or pans to cook for 8 people. Stove takes for ever for the temperature to raise. A couple of light bulbs were not working. I approached owners while there, so I didn’t have to put a negative review (they are nice people). The wife told me she knows she should be checking better the dishes after other guests leave and apologized for not doing it. I was giving the excuse the light bulbs burn out from the use which should be their responsibility to be checking and make sure all works for the next guests - just common sense. After explaining to them everything and asking to partially refund the cleaning fee or what we paid, they chose to refund me only 15 I even send pictures of everything mentioned. As I told them, they are entitled to refund whatever they wish but after all the trouble we experienced, the uncleanness of this house and even the wife recognizing her overlooking how clean all should have been before our arrival, we should have received more than that. I guess we all have different standards when it comes to have a house clean!!!

I absolutely loved my stay at this house! It had great amenities, plenty of space, and everything was spotless. The location was perfect with easy access to the venue I needed. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience — I would definitely rent this property again!
