I love everything about this property and its host. This is our second stay here this year and if I find myself back in this part of NC, I wouldn’t want to stay any where else.

Amazing stay. Hosts made this Easter weekend amazing as lots of room for egg hunts for the kiddos. They also gave us a big basket of goodies to start the week. Great fishing in the pod for bass and perch; caught and released a lot. Reached out and offered a tour of the barns and introduced us to the animals. Very clean, comfy and lots of room for the family. Games inside and out and overall relaxing experience.

The Host left no rock unturned when it came to making sure all our needs were met. They were so accommodating, so kind, they occasionally text us to be sure everything was going well and to our satisfaction. Words like, “If there is anything more we can do just let us know”, wow we really appreciated that. Thankyou so much for a wonderful stay. Sal and Val

Brenda and her family are absolutely incredible. Our trip truly did not feel like we were staying at a VRBO- they made us feel like family. The land is amazing, the home is beautiful and SPOTLESS, and they are the most welcoming, thoughtful, and kind people around. You absolutely will not find a better place or a better price. Their attention to detail is immaculate and we will never stop talking about this trip!

Tranquil Stay

We loved this property so much. It was clean and had plenty of supplies to include farm fresh eggs upon arrival. The acrivities in the backyard were perfect. We fished in the pond and caught several bass. We kayaked, played board games, and roasted marshmellows one night. Mrs. Brenda was very accomodating, friendly, and responsive. She let our two little kids pet the farm animals, feed them treats, and collect eggs. They loved it. Thank you so much.

What an amazing trip! The home is just perfect. Brenda has anything and everything you could possibly need in the beautifully decorated, well stocked, impeccably clean farmhouse. She and Jon were the BEST hosts and so kind to spend a morning touring the stables with us. We 10/10 recommend!

I'm a wife, mother to two young men, and a nurse. When I'm not caring for others, I enjoy spending time with my family, riding my horses, and working in my garden. I truly love county living and all the peace and beauty it brings.

Creating this farmhouse has been a labor of love, and it's a joy to share it with my guest. My hope is that everyone who stays here feels welcomed, comfortable and is able to relax. Whether you're relaxing by the pond, exploring the trails, or simply enjoying the quiet surroundings, I hope you will leave feeling refreshed with memories you'll cherish long after you leave.

この宿泊施設のオーナーになった理由

We chose this location because it offers the best of both worlds. The peaceful country living with the convenience of nearby small town charm. Nestled in the quiet countryside of Ellenboro, our farmhouse provides a relaxing escape where you can slow down, enjoy nature, and experience the beauty of rural North Carolina.

Just 10 minutes away, downtown Forest City offers a charming Main Street filled with locally owned boutiques, antique shops, coffee houses, bakery's, excellent restaurants, live music, and parks, whether you're looking to spend the day exploring, enjoying a delicious meal, or attending one the many towns special events, you'll appreciate having everything close by before returning to the farm.

この宿泊施設の特徴

What makes our property truly special is the opportunity to experience the beauty and tranquility of county life without sacrificing comfort. Set on 60 private acres, our thoughtfully restored 1940's farmhouse offers a peaceful retreat where guest can slow down and enjoy nature at its finest.

Spend your days fishing or padding on the pond, relaxing in the gazebo, exploring the wooded trails that wind along creeks and natural springs, or simply enjoy watching the horses and cows graze in green pastures. Gather with family and friends for indoor and outdoor games, roast marshmallows by the fire, or unwind on the porch as the sun sets over the farm.
