Great location in the historic district next to Washington Square. Most points of interest within walking distance. House was built in 1898 but has been well maintained and updated.

We rented this home for a girls trip. It was nice to have a communal space for all 4 of us to sit together. We liked the location close enough to walk to all parts of the historic quarter. The instructions sent in the email to get into the home were clear. The living room couch and chair were a little run down. The home was clean and the only supply we found to be missing was Kleenex and some blankets to use while sitting on the couch. I struggled with the primary bedroom shower, you have to pull the handle out and the warm water you turn the handle to the right. I thought it wasn't working so I did end up calling the after hours line and had someone answer and help me figure it out. I appreciated that someone actually answered. The water didn't get "hot" but it was warm enough for a shower. Another person was showering in the other bathroom around the same time and said that hers was warm too. The bedroom with the 2 beds is actually in a converted attic on the 3rd floor and doesn't have a door, so some of the noise from the second level was able to be heard and vice versa. The check out asked us to start the dishwasher which we attempted to do but found that it wasn't working. I also couldn't locate the garbage cans that I was told were outside to take the inside garbage out. They could also have put garbage cans in the bedrooms, at least the 3rd floor one so that I didn't have to go down to the 2nd floor bathroom. The home is older and comes with that charm.

We had a girls’ trip and stayed here. The location was amazing!!! The house was large and had enough space for us all. There were some things we wished were there like liquid soap for the bathrooms. But, it was a clean and great place! Would stay there again.

Great location, nice quiet neighborhood close to River Street and clean. Host answered messages quickly. Beautiful old house with lots of potential. Needs some work/updating. Some of the ceiling lights blink when turning them on and some spots on the ceiling are peeling in a couple of rooms. Broken ice maker in freezer leaks water into the freezer. Host said they will address these issues. Antique sofa and pillows should be refurbished or replaced, as the smell when we arrived was bad. We bought some Lysol spray which seemed to help. We were unable to use the very small dark/shaded back patio area with a mildewy umbrella, wet seat cushions and displaced patio bricks that are a trip hazard. We didn't need the bedroom on the top floor but two of the three bedrooms on the second floor had hard uncomfortable beds. (We are a group 60 years so it might be fine for younger groups).

Beautiful home in great location

This home is beautiful and was easy for us to walk where we wanted to go. We had a small problem with the hot water but the rental agent quickly responded and we were able to fix it. We loved staying here!

Perfect sister getaway!

We had 5 adults for a long weekend here, it was perfect! Very cute, spacious home with nice outdoor patio. Amazing location, made the trip extremely walkable!

Great Location, Beautiful Home

Everyone in our group was very impressed by the house. It’s in a great location, able to walk to many venues or short Uber ride. The only disappointment was that the pool advertised is on Tybee Island which is quite a ways from the property. May be more beneficial to those who stay longer than a weekend.

Beautiful home

This is a beautiful home that my group didn't want to leave! We could all envision ourselves living there. However, a few modifications would be appreciated. Potholders needed in the kitchen, the patio could use a good power wash, and an additional chair or 2 in the living room to accomodate seating for all guests at once.

Great Location and Historic Charm

This is a great way to see Savannah, by staying in a lovely old home in the historic district. We walked most places and left the car parked at the public lot 2 blocks from the house. The free bus is also available just 2 blocks away. The park right out front would range from spooky with fog to inviting with sunshine. Would happily stay there again.

Beautiful home on historic square

As described, my friends and I found it perfect for a girls trip, sans kiddos. Absolutely walkable and so fun that the trolley passes right in front of the house. House itself can use some love and updates (ex: peeling wallpaper in restroom, slow drain in bathroom tub). Some old features are endearing but just not practical (the height of master bathroom sink and mirror that literally required us to use a stool). Still, i’d recommend with these caveats for location and space.

Great Location & House

We had a group of 8 friends that stayed here and the space was great. It is a hike up to the 3rd floor where the last 2 slept! The property is located right on Washington Square and we enjoyed spending time there in the evenings. Great location and within walking distance to everything in the historic district.

Disappointed at the Neglect of This once gorgeous home.

First and foremost the location is great and communication with host was fine but the issues we had should have been addressed before this house was rented out as this house was just neglected. Fourth bedroom/3rd floor was not usuable due to the temperature. First and second floor stayed around 78 (it was hot while we were there but the AC was not functioning, air leaked outside under porch). Ice maker didn’t work, bathroom sinks, while pretty, are useless in their design and barely had a trickle of water. Back patio photos are not up to date, the actual patio/courtyard is covered in mildew, filthy, rampant weeds and broken bricks/concrete making it unusable. Many holes and cracks in the floor caused a few of us some injuries and all of us splinters. The overall house was just dingy and not taken care of, same with the furnishings (sad saggy couches, broken chairs etc). Certainly you can find much nicer, cleaner and safer homes for less than this one.
