Location was perfect! Tranquil and scenic. House and property had lots of amenities to keep two teenagers entertained. Rental company was very responsive to our needs. Enjoyed our stay; would recommend!

We thoroughly enjoyed our time on this property. It’s more towards the north part of the lake but there is still plenty of room to boat and jet ski. And it’s less busy at that part of the lake even though the best sights are at the south part. The views are still great, the rooms were clean and comfortable beds. The house has great amenities and everything you need. The Food Lion is less than 15 minutes away. The house is an older home with updated finishes. The hot tub is one of the best I’ve ever been in. But the real winner is the dock and view. The kids loved playing in the water at the dock. Even though the water level is low at the lake it is still plenty deep. If there was any negative it was the house had a bit of an old home smell when we arrived. But once we got the air circulating and bought some candles it was fine. Again, it is a very good house to vacation and relax.

Great weekend

We had a great weekend at this property with our adult children. There was a plenty of space for 6 adults with comfortable furniture and beds.

Great views!! Very peaceful and the water was Great. Easy check in and a host responded quickly to any question. Everything you need. The coffee and wine bar were a hit.

SML vacation.

Very nice property, had everything we needed to enjoy our family vacation. The kayaks were an added plus, the kids really enjoyed them. Would definitely rent again!

Beautiful view

My family and I had a blast. Been visiting SML for 12 years and this home is one of our favorites. The home had plenty of room, many activities at the home, very clean and comfortable.

Summer vacation

Our stay was wonderful! The kitchen was nicely stocked and had all we needed to make meals. Loved the coffee and wine bar. Hot tub was a huge hit! We also played a lot of pool with the table being so accessible in between the kitchen and living room area. The dock was very spacious and we used the kayaks almost everyday! Perfect long weekend at SML

Great find with this property! Our family of 3 loved it. Super clean and great amenities!! Well equipped kitchen had pretty much everything we needed. Only thing I’d change was the hot water. The tank must be tiny because it barely supported the 3 of us taking quick showers. Overall that still wouldn’t deter us from booking again!! Loved it thanks so much!

The lake location and view were beautiful, but the home’s condition did not come close to meeting our expectations. Compounding this, one hour prior to our arrival we received an email stating that lake levels were low and some docks were inaccessible. We brought our jet ski, and it would have been nice to know this much sooner. A drop in lake levels does not happen overnight; this was an issue they knew about for quite some time, and notifying us one hour prior felt like a serious lack of transparency.Upon arrival, the property showed significant deferred maintenance. Inside, the walls were dirty, trim and molding was chipped, and there were holes in the walls (including one taped over with packaging tape). There were also piles of dead bugs, dirty vents, broken window shades, stained curtains, and a dented fridge. In addition, a strong sewage odor filled the home whenever any shower or dishwasher ran. Outside, the patio area was full of weeds and debris, and the cushions were waterlogged.Property management was informed at check in, and sent a crew the next day that cleaned the bugs and picked up the debris, but they never followed up further. Due to the 70,000 people in the area for Liberty graduation weekend, we had no real choice but to stay, but it definitely put a damper on our celebration for our son. We are in no way looking for a refund or compensation. We genuinely want other guests to be aware and make their own informed decision.

We enjoyed our stay at this house. SML is a beautiful lake, and nicely-temperatured for swimming and boating. We were able to use the paddle boards off the dock at the house, although difficult due to the low water level during our visit. We rented a boat for a full day through Bridgewater Marina that allowed us to go to a drive-up dock restaurant (Drifters). We also enjoyed eating at Jake's and Cancun Mexican restaurant. The house came equipped with all necessary items. We enjoyed using the pool table and hot tub.
