When you're ready to wander afield, the famed Boothbay Harbor is a short 10-minute drive away with plenty of boutique shops, restaurants, local saltwater taffy, boat tours, and more! You'll also want to check out the nearby Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens and Maine State Aquarium for some local daytime activities.

I wanted a maine cottage for our vacation, my daughter and myself. I love the family feel of the cottage, the decor is what sold me, i love beachy antique. You can see the water, which i also loved! I liked that there was no tv, we did puzzles and listened to music and talked. I loved everything about this cottage!

We had a great time staying at "Camelot" on Southport Island. This was a charming little spot that was like being welcomed into a generational family cottage. There is a sense of peace and quiet here on this quiet road between the woods and the sea that makes you forget about the world around you for a time. The house was well equipped for excursions to the beach, travels on the island, or quiet days at home. There was a lot of natural light and the ceiling fans and screen doors let the ocean breezes keep the house cool both day and night (the weather was so nice we never needed the fireplace!). We really enjoyed sitting on the deck and seeing the ocean through the trees, or making the short walk to collect rocks on the shore. The host was accomodating and quick to reply, and the house was clean and comfortable. (Be aware that there are steps to get into the house, and two steps up to the bathroom).Thanks for a great stay!

This is a cozy Maine cottage. You feel secluded, but yet close to Southport & Boothbay Harbor. It's quiet & comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay.

Camelot has been our family cottage since 1970. Despite the fact we hail from California, just north of San Francisco, Camelot is our summer destination. Originally owned by our parents, my three sisters and I now own the cottage and look forward to having you experience some time down east.

The neighborhood on Blair Road hasn't changed too much over the decades; it's still quiet, smells of pine and sea air. Late in the summer the nearby blueberry bushes are ripe for picking. In the morning you will see the sunrise through the trees, above the sparkling water, and hear the lobster boat pulling traps in the nearby cove.

この宿泊施設の特徴

Camelot is a step back in time. The cottage has had a few upgrades over the years to keep it in good condition, but most of the contents are as they were when we first crossed the threshold in 1968; first as guests of good friends down the lane, then as owners in 1970. We enjoy coming to Camelot to enjoy past memories and to make new ones as the family grows.
