I promise you’ll love this place as much as I do! This cozy home tucked in the middle of the woods is the perfect spot to disconnect from the hustle and bustle of daily life and immerse yourself in the peace and beauty of nature.
This is my home, and I’m so excited to share it with you!
Whether you’re here for a family vacation, a romantic getaway, a trip with friends, or just looking for some peaceful time alone you’re going to enjoy every moment! 🤎 🌿The house is just a few minutes away from Florida’s most beautiful springs, offering you the very best of nature.

• Just 13 minutes from Ginnie Springs
• 10 minutes from Poe Springs
• 8 minutes from Blue Spring
• And many other springs between 30 and 50 minutes away

You’ll also find restaurants and grocery stores in the charming town of High Springs, just 5 minutes away. Everything you need for an unforgettable stay!

You can also have a bonfire with marshmallows or your best wood-fired BBQ with friends. Kids can have fun with the inflatables I have at the house or learn a bit about the surrounding wildlife. The backyard is fully fenced, ensuring the safety of your children and pets. I offer patio furniture, a gas barbecue, and a dining table for your outdoor meals. Whatever your plan, I assure you that you will have a memorable experience here at my home.

This place is very quiet and restful, perfect for relaxing and taking a break from busy daily life.. Everything felt comfortable and well cared for, and the surroundings added to the sense of calm. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and relaxing place to stay.

We had a wonderful stay at this property. The house was exceptionally clean — I usually travel with my own cleaning supplies, but I didn’t need to use them at all. The kitchen was very well stocked, which made meals easy and enjoyable (I did bring my own toaster, but that’s just because we really love our toast).I loved the décor throughout the home, and the thoughtful labeling of the cabinets and drawers made it so easy to find everything without searching around. The children’s bedroom was the cutest — such a charming touch that made the space feel even more welcoming. Since we stayed for two weeks, I also used the washing machine and dryer. Both were spacious and modern, and I loved the cheerful little jingle they played when the loads were done.The location was peaceful and tucked away from the main road. I truly enjoyed waking up to the sounds of roosters, birds, and the quiet of the countryside.Our host was very responsive, and her detailed instructions for check‑in, check‑out, and house guidelines were incredibly helpful.Overall, this was a comfortable, quiet, and well‑cared‑for home, and we really enjoyed our stay.

Perfect hideaway

The photos do not do this place justice. The decor is lovely. The beds are very comfortable and the space is way bigger than in looks. Our favorite was the location. It’s a larger property tucked away in the trees with complete privacy. The local town is very cute with shops and local restaurants closeby. We spent a lovely day at Poe springs Which is minutes away. We will definitely book here again next time we travel to the area.

Restful During Stressful Time

The Green Hideaway provided a much needed restful and very peaceful place during some stressful doctor visits at Shands. It allowed my family to pray, rest, and get away to the Springs in between appointments. Who knew we were so close to the National Shrine of Mary (Our Lady La Leche)? Although the diagnosis was not what I had hoped and I will have to return, perhaps the Green Hideaway will be available again. God Bless you, Daniela. Thank you so much for your kind hospitality.

Would absolutely recommend!

The check in process was a bit difficult because VRBO didn’t send instructions prior to check in and the address on the VRBO listing was incorrect, but Daniela was quick to help us! We had 6 adults and one 2.5y/o. There were tons of stuffed animals for the little one, kids utensils and plates, lots of board games to play, a kiddie pool, and a slip n slide! They had extra inner tubes to take to the springs, a fire pit which we enjoyed every night, several areas to hangout, extra chairs, and a Bluetooth speaker! The kitchen had everything we needed, to cook the meals we planned, and the entire VRBO was very clean. There were a decent amount of bugs, but that’s to be expected in any wooded area. We loved this home and will be back next time we’re in the area!

Not quite as expected

Water bugs are a problem and kitchen necessities listed were not available. I messaged ahead of time to say we would be cooking at the house and we assured the basic kitchen necessities were available. We had to go buy Kitchen towels, dish towels, pot holders and paper towels. There was not hot water but was told to check the breaker and after heating up we did have hot water. Was a little inconvenient and disappointed having to purchase these items

Hi Pat, I’m so sorry you had to go out and buy those things. I wish you had asked me, as I would’ve been happy to help. There are pot holders, cleaning cloths, and dish towels available—maybe they just weren’t easy to find. The kitchen is fully equipped with a variety of pots, plates, utensils, and even a nice selection of spices, cooking oil, sugar, salt, coffee, etc. I’ll make sure to place these items in a more visible spot for future guests. We liked that the location was pretty secluded and close to town. Did not like that I had to wash all the towels upon arriving bc the sour smell when wet and blankets didn’t smell fresh. There was 1 wash cloth and 2 hand towels. The shampoo/cond/body wash was terrible. Not the best water pressure and shower heads were installed for very short people. Grass was unmowed until the last day which made it hard with a dog. Coffee pot didn’t work. The floors in the house were terrible. No toaster. We’ve always seen where hosts supply paper towels, dish soap/sponges, cleaner and sometimes laundry soap, not the case. The pull out trundle mattresses were super bad. There were also flying palmetto bugs everywhere in the house as well as a huge spider. Spider webs in corners and back porch is rotting in many areas. The place really needs an overhaul inside and out. The host was very nice and friendly to deal with when wifi was messed up (due to storm). It was really nice seeing the wildlife on the property (deer and turkey in the yard)
