The Hood

When we pulled up to the place, we considered leaving. But we had just gotten off work (we've been working there for about 2 weeks) and just didn't have the energy to look for other places. We were in what we call the hood. Bars on the windows, trash all over the yard. At first we went to the wrong door and I thank God because the door knob was almost broken off. The room we got was actually pretty nice inside. I just wish the neighborhood matched the inside. I was assured there had been no crime and that did make us feel a bit better.

We’re sorry the surrounding neighborhood didn’t meet your expectations, but we assure you it’s not considered the hood. Our property is in an urban area with its own character, which might feel different from what some suburban guests are used to. The neighborhood is generally safe and offers easy access to downtown, the beach, the airport, public transportation, and local amenities. While our condo association is currently making some cosmetic upgrades, we’ll share your feedback to ensure any areas needing attention are addressed. We appreciate you choosing to stay with us for your entire booked visit and hope you enjoyed the unit's comforts.
