The only issue we had was that on 3 different occasions birds flew into the large window in the kitchen, maybe just a coincidence. But if there is something you can do to help prevent that it would be nicer for your guests, and of course our feathered friends. Thanks for a great vacation.!!

Much needed getaway

Nice mix of being in the trees / mountains but having the city close! Enjoyed our weekend and will Be back very soon.

Wonderful Location and Updated Home

The check-in and follow-up process was flawless. The home was more than what we expected. It was updated, extremely well appointed and the location was serene and relaxing. The kitchen contained everything! We'll definitely planning on staying again.

Perfect!

Fantastic home, beautiful outdoor living space. Honestly the home was perfect and had everything we could’ve needed. It’s the small things like the basket with snacks and bottle of wine, coffee supplies, the extras in the bathroom in case you forget anything etc. that really makes a wonderful difference. Thank you for hosting us, we will definitely be back!

Fabulous

Lovely home! Perfect for our Christmas Stay. Kitchen well equipped. Nice views!Convenient. 15 min from town. Road is a little dark at night. Watch for deer.Thank you!!! It was perfect! We will be back!!!

Beautiful Mountain Retreat

This is a beautiful location. If you do not like to drive narrow mountain roads be aware that it is on a narrow road. I really loved the view from the deck; however, I was disappointed by the complete lack of comfortable furniture to sit on on the deck. The hot tub was lovely. There was no mention of a "volume" rule in the listing, but they monitor your volume which felt invasive even though we had no problems. The light going upstairs didn't work so my 84 yr old mother had to walk up in the dark. The master suite has a beautiful bathroom, but the light to the private toilet didn't work so you were in complete darkness if you wanted to use it while anyone else was in the bathroom. MANY lights do not work or had burnt out bulbs. The microwave was broken, candy and screws were under the bed in one of the bedrooms which makes us wonder how clean it was. The landing at the top of the stairs smelled like cat pee. This s a pet friendly house so perhaps the owners need to monitor the cleanliness a bit better after pets have been there. We found dog hair on most of our belongings after being in the house. Lots of spiders and cobwebs as well as dirty dishes in the cupboards. They did a lovely job of offering snacks, tea,wine, amenities like toothbrushes, comfy towels/ bedding etc. You will love the master suite! it is gorgeous. The problems are easy fixes with better attention to details. The actual home space and location are lovely.

Linda, we checked on the lights immediately after your stay and for some odd reason, there were 7 lightbulbs unscrewed a quarter turn. We have not encountered this before. We also immediately ordered a carpet cleaning.
