My wife and I visited Fairhope for a long weekend and after considering a few options we chose this place. Not familiar with the area we were pleased that the hosts sent us a link with suggestions of what to do and where to eat. The property is in a prime location, maybe .1 mile to the Fairhope Pier and within .5 miles to all the shops in Fairhope. Our room, suite 2, was located in the back of the house and to get to the room you had to follow a garden lined path around the side of the house which was very well kept. The room had everything we needed: a comfortable bed, a small refrigerator and microwave, a great bathroom with a large shower and soaking tub. Our overall experience was great and would not hesitate to book again.

Everything was great and I would have given this a 5 star rating with 1 exception. The listing said the cottage had A/C but it was controlled by the owners with the thermostat in their area. It was “awkward” having to message the owners to adjust the temp.
