This tastefully decorated and fully remodeled house offers a comfortable and well-equipped living space for guests seeking a seamless move-in experience. The entire interior of the unit is immaculate, as if it were brand new.
This two-story house provides ample space and privacy. The three bedrooms offer cozy sleeping arrangements, including a primary bedroom with a king-sized bed, a closet, a nightstand, and a private bathroom with a walk-in shower and vanity. The second and third bedrooms each feature a queen-sized bed, a closet, and a nightstand. The second bathroom boasts a walk-in shower and a vanity for your convenience.
Indoor amenities include super-high ceilings and a comforting fireplace, creating a welcoming and cozy atmosphere. The hardwood flooring throughout the house adds sophistication, while the carpeted bedrooms provide extra comfort.

House was conveniently located, comfortable and had a well stocked kitchen. It was next to hiking and biking trails and you could walk to the lake easily.

Elsa was very responsive to all our needs, we had a wonderful time in the Tahoe cozy cabin. Great WiFi close to town and in our case lots of snow. Had a very woodsy cabin feel. Highly recommend it to all.

It was a nice property and was pretty clean, found a bunch of belongings of others under bed and in closets. Overall we were satisfied about the inside. Pretty darn disappointed in backyard as it wasn’t what was pictured in the photos. It was pretty ran down and over grown with weeds. Pretty much made the backyard horseshoes unplayable. Side yard was a bit better. Tons of great stuff for activities and for families inside. Kind hosts but it was apparent they weren’t going thru it themselves between guests. Overall it was great on the inside but outside definitely needs work. Either way thanks for letting us stay.

We sincerely apologize for finding other guests’ belongings under the bed and we’re addressing that with our cleaning crew directly. We’re actively working on clearing out the weeds and giving the space a much nicer overall look, including making sure the horseshoes pit is usable again. The property is in a great location. I do have a couple complaints 1. There’s an annoying woodpecker living inside the walls that pecks at the wall for hrs on end and 2. Theres cob webs all over the front of the house which I would’ve preferred not seeing them. But over all I had a great experience. It is a very cleans house. Feels very homey. I didn’t need anything because everything you need is provided. Tp, towels, WiFi, and even some snacks! I would definitely stay there again!

Overall the property works for a place to sleep at night and make dinner at the end of the day. Summer in SLT can get pretty warm so no air conditioning wasn't ideal but we made it work the fans throughout the house.Didn't seem like the property was set up as a short term rental all the time as there were many obscure knickknacks laying around the entire house (oddly quite a bit of Christmas decor for it being August.) Found lots of insects (hugeeee ants mostly) on the first floor throughout our stay but that was kind of to be expected in the woods. Lots of bear activity in this neighborhood specifically so ensure that your car is locked and there's no food inside out you might wake up to an unwelcome guest or two.Kitchen was well stocked and usable for a few meals on our 4 night trip. Bedding and linens overall has a musty/overly used feel to them but we were so tired every night after being on the lake all day that a soft surface was all we needed.Back patio area was virtually unusable due to the amount of bugs and splinters wood that was in the deck/seating. Just needs a little TLC and I'm sure it would be a great entertaining space.Quite a few of the lights throughout the property also were not functioning so lots of flashlight and lamps were used in lieu. I'd stay again for another few nights in the summer but we were 6 late 20 something's that aren't too particular about amenities. One thing I will say is the location was spectacular for access to downtown.

We'd like to provide some additional context regarding a few of your observations. South Lake Tahoe is known for its mild mountain climate, and because temperatures typically cool significantly in the evenings, many homes in the area, including ours, are not equipped with air conditioning. We're glad the fans throughout the home helped make your stay more comfortable. As the property is located in a heavily wooded area, occasional encounters with insects and local wildlife are part of the mountain environment and unfortunately outside of our control. That said, we take cleanliness seriously. We followed up with our cleaning team regarding the ants and insects you mentioned, and they did not observe any unusual activity during their inspection and cleaning prior to your arrival. We have also personally stayed at the cabin during the summer months without experiencing similar issues. Nevertheless, we appreciate you bringing this to our attention and will continue monitoring it closely. Regarding the decor, the only seasonal item present is a strand of decorative lights on the second floor. The red holly-style berries are used year-round to add color and character to the home and were not intended as Christmas decorations. Many guests have enjoyed the cozy mountain aesthetic, though we understand that decor preferences can vary. We also appreciate your comments regarding the deck, lighting, and linens. Guest feedback helps us identify opportunities for improvement, and we will review these items with our maintenance and housekeeping teams. Thank you again for your stay and for acknowledging the benefits of the location.
