This homeowner goes above and beyond to make sure all their guests are comfortable, so when you arrived with a large party, they wanted to ensure there was enough bedding to accommodate you all. We apologize if this caught you off guard. Prior to your arrival, the home was hit by a large rainstorm, leaving unclean, wet cushions on the porch furniture. The homeowner is in the process of fixing this so that all travelers can enjoy the wonderful deck. Hi Rebecca, thank you for your review. The homeowner has asked us to pass along the following response: We are sorry to hear that the one-lane winding road leading to the house was an unexpected obstacle, making your stay somewhat challenging. Unfortunately, we cannot change this as most of the roads that lead to cabins in mountainous regions, like ours, are normally steep and offer only one lane. Most of our guests looking for such a secluded place like this one find it quite picturesque, especially being rewarded at the end by such a breathtaking view, as you stated. As for the supplies, the only item we noticed that was used in full were the dryer sheets. There were still plenty of dishwasher pods, laundry pods, paper towels, toilet paper, dishwashing detergent, hand soap, etc. We only offer starter supplies for the first 2 or 3 days of our guests' stay until they have the chance to supply their own for the rest of their stay. Regarding the towels, we offer a complete set of three towels per guest; one bath towel, one hand towel, and one washcloth. The house is equipped with a washing machine and a dryer, washing pods, and dryer sheets so our guests can conveniently wash their items when needed. We will make the adjustment and place some extra towels for future guests. Once again, thank you for choosing to stay with us.
