My husband and I came to celebrate our honeymoon and we had the best time. We spent all our days just binge watching our favorite shows and enjoying the fireplace. My husband loved all the bear decor and actually counted all the bears in each room!! We would definitely stay here again.

Absolutely the cutest place!

We only got to stay 2 nights but this cabin was perfect! Spotless, everything we needed was there. Views were wonderful, we loved sitting on the deck and watching wildlife. We will definitely rent this again, longer next time!

Loved this cabin

Wish we could have stayed longer. We were just passing through, just an overnight stay. Very nice cabin. Great place to just sit out on the deck and relax. Highly recommended.

Great stay!

Clean cabin. Really close to a lot of areas of activity (Smoke Hole, Seneca Rocks, tons of hiking, swimming, etc.). Great place to come home to at night.

Cozy and Accommodating

We really enjoyed are short stay. The cabin was cozy and accommodating. The furnishings were nice with the recliners and glider! Beautiful porch for morning coffee. We didn't get a chance, but would have loved to used the fire pit!

OUR SECOND VISIT

This was our second visit to the cabin in 14 months. It is clean, cozy and has all the amenities. The ONLY drawback is the cabins proximity to a busy Route 220. If you have young children or bring a wandering dog they will need to be watched while outside the cabin. Two child gates might be handy to use while out on the large porch that has a beautiful view where we spent the most time. We saw fawn and adult deer every morning and evening grazing in the large yard. Not much nearby in terms of restaurants but we took our own already prepared food with us. We met the hosts the first time we visited and they were very nice and live nearby in case you have any issues.

Great place to stay

We stayed one night, had really hot water, clean beds, comfy living room, fully stocked kitchen, and a huge porch to hang out with a great view. The rain kept us from having a fire but theres a nice fire ring. Absolutely recommend staying here

Get Away for two

My husband was hesitant because we'd never done a VBO. Now he says, "that was great. We need to go back in the fall!" Everything was as advertised. Setting on the porch in the morning with coffee was the best. Everyone we met was friendly. Thank you!

Quaint with great views

The cabin was very clean and well stocked with necessities like paper towels, toilet paper, dish soap, etc. It was well laid out and made great use of space. Especially loved the comfy rocking chairs on the covered porch!

Favorite place to stay!

We absolutely love this cabin, our third visit! The decor, coziness, and views from the deck keep us coming back. Rhona is a fantastic host and the place is always clean and fully stocked. Our dogs love the yard!

The cabins was absolutely amazing. Very clean, probably the cleanest I've ever stayed at. Kitchen had everything needed. Comfortable bed that I couldve stayed in all day. We enjoyed the peacefulness.

We live close to the Potomac Overlook,My husband always wanted to build a small log cabin.Since being retired for a few years we purchased the small piece of land and have built this cabin to rent to people to enjoy and explore the beauty of our surrounding area like Smoke Hole canyon Seneca Rocks Dolly sods and Spruce Knob and lots of other interesting things to do like fishing, hunting, hiking to mention a few. We also have the HIdeaway Rental House which is located across the road from the cabin up in the woods that we rent also for the last 5 years.
