Summary:

Peaceful, private cottage near lake. You get best of both worlds with this cozy cottage with lots of parking. This property sits in the middle of a farm. Farm life all around you. No busy highways, traffic or noise. Sit in the deck and watch the cows graze in the fields.



Getting Around:

Off west 92 turn left onto Twyford point rd, first road to the left.

216 Old Post Office rd.

You have all the privacy you could imagine! Only house on the road and plenty of space for boats, campers etc. within a mile to Twyford point landing, popular entrance into Lake Cumberland.

Small boat ramp with walk in entrance to lake for swimming and fishing. East in and out access. Also within 7 miles to Beaver creek resort and only around 12 miles to Conley Bottom Resort. Located within 3 miles of city limits. Perfect location to access so many different areas.

Vicki was very helpful when we had trouble finding a place to stay and the house was decorated nicely and very clean!! We have stayed at her property's before with family and will definitely be back!!

Clean, quiet, just as advertised.

We stayed here two nights to visit with friends who have a house at Lake Cumberland. The house was clean (appeared to be freshly remodeled) and had everything we needed for a short visit. Setting was remote but pleasant.

What a great place to stay! The house was clean, had everything you need to cook, and was very cozy.Host communication is A If you use GPS it stops about a 1/4 mile from the property. Keep going the driveway is at the bend, just turn left up the driveway. We enjoyed sitting on the porch listening to owls, wild turkey, other birds, and the cows.Would book here again!

Just as advertised & more!

Everything was easy & laid back. We went for a 3 mile walk that ended at a most peaceful (& free) boat launch into Lake Cumberland; surrounded by forests. The property is conveniently located to stores & restaurants, but totally private & secluded. Perfect!

Just what we wanted

The house was very clean and the beds were super comfy. Kitchen was modern and had everything we needed. Located away from everything but only a few minutes from town. Peaceful. Was just what we were looking for. Will be back next year.

The rental was all good except for the mattress which was not supportive. I realize this can be a subjective thing; however I don’t think we would stay here again unless the mattress was better.
