Hiking in the surrounding area was incredible and Lilac Cottage is very central to seeing and enjoying so much.
Looking north on Rt 9N at end of driveway.

We loved our stay! The property was clean, and perfect for us. What a beautiful renovation! The barn doors were a great touch! The location was central to all that we wanted to do in the area. We will definitely be back!

Great Stay

Great location and the house was very clean and nice, defiantly newly built. My only comment is the heater is very noisey couldn’t sleep with it on but the fireplace is in the living room and bedroom so it worked out great i wouldn’t say that is really a complaint though everything was great.

Thanks for this 5-star review, Aaron! Please, come again. Your feedback on the space heater is much appreciated. We'll replace that with a silent, radiator-style heater. We look forward to hosting your next visit to the Adirondacks!

Quiet spot near Lake Placid

We enjoyed our stay at this renovated barn near lake placid. Comfortable bed and beautiful soaking tub. Nice shower and enjoyed the gas fireplace. Nice spot along Ausable River. Curtains in the bedroom & bathroom could be added for more privacy.

Weekend getaway

Beautiful barn. However, lacks privacy/ curtains in the bedroom and bathroom. Around 25 minutes from lake placid. Overall, great check in experience. Had everything you need including silverware, bowls, pots/pans, towels, etc.
