Collect all trash, tie them in a bag and put it outside the patio and collect all used towels and put them near the washing machine.
Be careful of dock stair railings since you might cut or nick your hand there.
After use put all the kayaks and pedals back on the stand and life jackets on top of one of them.

Great stay on the lake

Property was exactly as described, we really enjoyed our stay at the lake and our host was very responsive with communication.

The size of the home met the accomodations to our family. We were in town for a revival and baptism. The owner came through and refunded us our money due to a lot of reasons I am not going to mention.The owner was nice about everything and we appreciated it.

Lake house

The inside of the property was pretty well kept. There were a few water damaged spots on the baseboards other than that the inside was beautiful and well put together. The outside was not as well kept. The grass was overgrown. There were spider webs all over the outside patio and covering the dock area. We had to dodge two different types of wasps each time we came in or out of the property. Krishna was amazing however and so was the cleaning woman. We had an amazing time while there on our stay. If my family and I come back to this area in the future we will be renting this location again.

Time on the water

The dock and the house was great. There were some repairs in progress. There was no jet ski. The trash from the last rental was still outside and had been gotten into by animals so we had to clean that up. Not sure why it was out of the bins and not taken away. The decorations and furnitunga all looked great.

Gps didn't take you to the correct location. We had to call VRBO because we couldn't communicate with the host directly. Had to call for Wi-Fi and door code, it was never sent to us. We had to go on a scavenger hunt to find the towels and toilet paper. The towels stunk like they hadn't been washed. The Jacuzzi smelled bad. Cobwebs. Looked like they really didn't try to clean up much. It was just guys for a fishing trip, but still would have expected better. Communication with the host should be straight forward, not having to call VRBO. No jet ski on site. The water was so low, the guys had to get a ladder to get down off the dock. Rate the stay a 5 out of 10 compared to other places weve stayed.

Dirty Sheets

When we got there the inside of the house was 81 degrees. It was hot and humid for the entire first day we stayed until the ac caught up. The house smelled like sewage, BOTH showers leak water all over the floor. The back bathroom smells like mold so bad we didnt use it. The hot tub water was not changed after the last guest NIETHER WERE THE BEDSHEETS! Also i dont think the neighbors really appreciate a bnb in there little coldasac. I was told ours was the only one in the neighborhood. When we launched our boat, we spent maybe 30 minutes on the lake and when we came back the ramp had been locked up.

Not as it is shown

Lock didn't work. Couldn't lock the unit when we went out. Called vrbo and owner said they could lock from where they were. Did NOT lock. Grass had not been cut in weeks. Could not get to the firepit grass way to high. Spider webs so bad on boat dock could not get on it. Wasp everywhere. Ice maker didn't work. Drain in 2nd bath was slow drain. Coffee pot had trouble draining. Back screen door coming off hinges had to be very careful with it. Gutter at back corner of house needs to be fixed. No blinds, only see thru curtains. Broken outside window near back door. Cobwebs everywhere. Not as shown on the pictures on the vrbo website. Miss leading.

Would not recommend

Check in was more than two hours late. We arrived around 4:30 and were asked to come back later. At 5:30 the cleaner said it took a while to clean up all of the body fluids that were left from previous guests. The house was still extremely dirty with stains on the sheets that had obviously not been washed. After talking with the homeowner, we decided it would be best if we did not stay there. He did give us a partial refund, but I don't understand why we had to come out of pocket for anything because it was their fault for us not being able to stay there. We ended up getting hotels at the last minute which was unfortunate because many were sold out.
