Amazing house and management

We spent Thanksgiving week here with our family of 9. House worked great for our group. Parking was easy in a very busy area. Even though we were right on the beach and the beach was crowded it was quiet at night, felt very private and safe. The house has came well equipped. The only issue was the A/C unit stopped working a few days in. Only the master bedroom/loft has a/c. The three other bedrooms do not and it definitely got very warm. We opened the doors and turned on the fan and that helped but if it was much warmer it would have been very uncomfortable at night. Location is amazing. View is stunning from the deck. At this time of year swimming is not a good idea. Surf is very large. However there are several other spots close by that you can check out. Much different vibe then staying in Honolulu. Felt very relaxed and more local.

No air conditioning made it hard to sleep-location if beautiful bu beach is difficult to access.

Not used to extreme heat, did not realize there was only a window a/c in the master bedroom, rest of the house was sweltering by 11am. Location is fantastic. Parking is extremely difficult-it was a maze to get parked each day. The beach is right off the deck but to get to the water you have to walk/slide down 10 foot wall of sand, very nearly impossible for old and very young people to navigate so we actually drove to other beaches.

Pure Magic

There really aren’t words to give justice to this place. Our extended family of 8 had plenty of room. The bathrooms worked out better than we thought given the number of people. There were several upgrades since we had booked - the new kitchen is fantastic. It was also stocked with everything you would need and want. I even had a brother for my latte! The seating is comfortable and accommodates everyone. The beds were so comfortable - memory foam. The location is unbeatable. The host was so responsive and accommodating. 10 out of 10.

MISREPRESENTATION!!! BOOK ELSEWHERE!

Our experience at this rental was HORRIBLE!!! The pricey listing looked beautiful & promised 2 bathrooms & washer/dryers, but the reality was far from it. Security: The front doors couldn’t be locked! We spent 3 nights unable to secure the house, leaving passports, valuables, & our family vulnerable. Renting a place with broken locks is unacceptable & unsafe!! Bathrooms: The master bathroom was under RENOVATION (not disclosed in the listing!). It was unsafe & unusable except for a toilet & sink—no shower, unfinished floor, rough walls. For a family of 6, only having 1 tiny shower was unacceptable. Laundry: The washer/dryer didn’t work properly. Management said to "use cold water" due to no hot water, which didn’t clean mud from clothes. The dryer barely worked, requiring multiple cycles. Only 7 towels were provided for our week-long stay, with no way to clean them properly. Supplies: They didn’t provide enough basics. We ran out of toilet paper & paper towels on day 3. It took hours to get more, & they only delivered 4 rolls. At this price, we shouldn’t have had to ask for essentials. Customer Service: MGMT offered to "comp" us a dinner at a local burger joint(7 Brothers), HA, but ghosted us when we tried to accept! After the stay, the host ignored our messages requesting a fair discount despite the listing’s misrepresentation. Bottom Line: This rental was a huge letdown. Misrepresented, unsafe, lacking basics, & poorly managed. Don’t waste your money here!!!!!

Dear Mike we are very sorry you feel the need to disparage the miracle house after opening our amazing home to you and your family/friends! You actually had zero complaints during your entire eight night stay with absolutely no communication of anything you wrote here! In fact the property manager has direct communication from your wife stating how you and your family were having an amazing experience and simply needed a restock of toilet paper which was immediately brought over! I personally never heard a word from you until you emailed me sometime after your 8 night vacation commenced and you then bullied/demanded twice over a 40% refund otherwise you would disparage the miracle house in a review online here! The fact of the mater is the miracle house is in the nucleus of the 7 mile miracle on the sand and it is clearly stated this is not a 5 star hotel or 4 seasons resort and is rather a older lovely homey beach home although far from perfect is nestled on the sand and has most recently undergone a brand new renovation with new kitchen, master bathroom, windows, floors, bedding, towels, couches amongst other upgrades! The washer dryer has never had any issues what so ever from any guest other than you, and we have never had such a disparaging review from anyone like this before! We have put a tremendous amount of work into making the miracle house the most amazing experience a family can have on the northshore and your untruthful review about safety, again we have never had one issue with a break in or any safety issues nor did you ever complain of such nor was there any injury or your belongings taken or any report of such! You always had two bathrooms, two sinks, two showers (one outdoor/one indoor with one shower requiring new grout) and two toilets, enough beds to sleep 10 persons and sunset, rainbow, ocean views from the kitchen, living room, and master bedroom while listening to the oceans waves! We are very sorry you could not find peace and happiness in the miracle house!
