Best stay ever

We enjoyed our stay in the home it was very nice, clean, and had the essentials you needed. Great location close to everything from food,and entertainment, host had excellent communication… my family loved the house and will definitely book in the future.

Great house to rent

There were 4 of us that traveled to Tampa for a golf vacation. This house was perfect for what we needed. The house was clean and it felt like home. The communication with the owner was exceptional. Any question that I asked was answered in less than an hour. The info to get into the property was very detailed and left me without any questions. I will definitely book this house again for our next golf trip. This house deserves 6 stars.

No Internet, host's response is removal

We were informed by the host, that one of the toilets wasn't working, but would be the following day. Why does it take 24 hours to fix?The property is listed as 4 BR 3 Bath, and it's really a 2.5 bath. Upon arrival, we found the internet wasn't working, a chair was broken and there provided coffee station didn't have filters (defeats the coffee grounds, sugar, creamers provided). We informed the host, and the next day the chair was removed (to the garage) and informed the internet would be fixed the following day. Day three the internet still wasn't fixed, but the maintenance man showed up to remove the router - appears the host's solution to fixing thing is removal (glad we didn't complain about the beds).There were other issues, tiny cheap towels, home had an unusual odor, upstairs TV didn't work, Cable TV on downstairs TV didn't even have local chanels. I could continue, but it appears the owner is looking for the cheapest way to rent their place - must not be looking for repeat business.Like the chair and the router, I will remove myself from their future rental pool. By the way, I informed the host about these complaints, but never heard back. Choose another home.

Hi Richard. Thank you for all of the feedback. The reason the chair was removed was because we were unable to get it fixed and it had to be thrown away. We didn't want to leave a broken chair for your stay. Unfortunately, the wifi and router could not be fixed during your stay because since COVID frontier does not have a physical location and we had to order a new modem. The TV was not working because of the internet. The TV downstairs does not have cable and we do not advertise it to have cable. There are free channels provided by the smart TV. I am sorry you had a bad experience. We are constantly working to make our property better for our guests and have taken all of your feedback into consideration.

I’ll be honest — if I’d written this review the night we arrived, it would’ve been a 1 or 2. We drove in after dark and the surrounding area didn’t exactly inspire confidence. Had a real “what have we gotten ourselves into” moment.That said, the house itself and the development it sits in were fine, and the furnishings inside were actually pretty well done. But here’s where things went sideways fast: a smoke detector with a dying battery chirping nonstop until I tracked it down and disconnected it. Then we couldn’t get the TV to work — dead batteries in the remote. One of the bedroom ceiling lights had a globe that wouldn’t sit straight or tighten properly. And when we opened the garage expecting to enjoy the pool table and ping pong table, we were hit with an overpowering smell of stale pot smoke. Not great.The outside area was disappointing — not well kept. The carpet throughout could use replacing, especially on the stairs where it’s looking pretty rough. Kitchen looked nice but we never used it.All that said, we really only needed the place as a home base to sleep a couple of nights and it served that purpose fine. I landed on 4 stars but honestly feel it was overpriced for the overall condition. A little maintenance and attention to detail would go a long way here. Also, consider leaving extra batteries somewhere.
