Charming & Sweet!

I had a marvelous stay in this darling cabin! I was flying solo so it was cozy and perfect for one. I chatted with a couple of the friendly neighbors so I felt safe and not alone (just in case anything happened). It was in an excellent location as it was near everything I wanted to do, including the Alpine Slide ride. I also discovered a neat, historical walking trail nearby behind the Big Bear Performing Arts Center as well as walked in the lovely neighborhood around the cabin. Had the best fajitas at the Azteca Grill restaurant nearby, too. My favorite thing was sitting in the back patio hot tub with the lights off and looking at the stars each night. The best! I had a couple of minor issues, but the owner April was incredibly responsive both during and after my stay. Awesome and helpful communication! I'm very much planning to return for another stay.

Exactly as advertized! Perfect size for a couple. We only used the kitchen for breakfasts and it had everything we needed. The house was clean and ready for us when we arrived. We stayed for a long weekend, so the space for clothes worked great for us. No dresser/drawers but plenty of space for open suitcases & loads of hangers & hooks - especially great for jackets & hats by the front door. The location was great! We biked from the house all around the lake; there were great hiking, kayaking, boating and other activities very close by. The cute Big Bear Lake downtown area is close enough to walk, but was also an easy drive. The host, April, was easy to get in touch with and she provided all the necessary information well in advance of our arrival. Overall, I definitely recommend!
