Overall, we had a good stay in this home and we’ve stayed here before with a previous excellent experience which is why we returned. However, there’s a significant ant infestation on both the first and second floor floors that required attention for our entire two week stay. There is also now a refrigerator in the larger garage, making it very difficult to park a vehicle in there…not impossible, but difficult.The kitchen is amazing with premium appliances. However, the living room would be greatly improved with some additional seating. There are only two couches and no other places to sit except at dining tables. Just adding a couple of additional chairs in the living space would be excellent.

We loved our stay so much! Our first time staying on the little island and we actually ended up liking it better than the main island. The home was beautiful and gave us the most incredible views!!

Beautiful Balboa Bay House

The house is so beautiful and in a great location! The only thing that we found that could be better is the mattress in the primary bedroom. Other than that, we loved everything.

We visit our daughter every year for at least two weeks and we always stay on Balboa Island. This home was exceptional and we were very comfortable and so enjoyed the more peaceful little Balboa Island. If I had to say what wasn't okay, I would say the washer/dryer was unusually noisy and the washer wasn’t the cleanest as some clothes were stained while washing them. They ultimately came clean. Other than that, we had a lovely stay and it is an amazing location on little Balboa.

It was beautiful! The location was great because it was a quiet space. All of the neighbors were so kind. I wish there had been Air Conditioning just so we could cool the room at night… We just happen to be there during the hottest week of the year. So that’s not really a slam on the house. We would definitely come back here again.
