Despite hurricane Erin, we had a wonderful time. House was very nice, about 6 to 8 minute walk to boardwalk and beach. Ice cream shop 2 minute walk. The front porch was very nice to sit on. Kitchen area and livingroom was nice and spacious.

Perfect!

We absolutely loved everything about this condo! It was perfect for six people. The condo was clean and very well stocked. We loved the fact that you had two parking spaces, extra chairs, extra bikes and beach tags—all those things that make a vacation in OC just a bit sweeter! My husband and I loved drinking coffee and reading on the beautiful front porch! The location of the condo is really convenient for everything…right around the corner from a cute ice cream shop, very close to Walgreens, a one minute drive to Dunkin and McDonalds, a couple minute drive to Asbury for shopping and four blocks from the Boardwalk. We will definitely be staying here again!

Family vacation

Our family of 5 has been staying at this property for several years. We love the proximity to the beach and the bay. We also love the front porch for meals and relaxing. Can’t wait to be back here for another shire week!

Great trip!

We loved our stay at this location. You always know you had a great trip when no one wants to leave. The house was very clean, well stocked and in a wonderful location. We could walk to almost everything. The owner was on top of all details and responded quickly. I can't recommend this place and owner enough. We will definitely be returning.

Great place!

We stayed at this property July 6-July13. This place was great! It was just as described! Plenty of room for my husband and my two boys, ages 18 and 15. House was super clean and well stocked! The beach chairs and bikes were an extra bonus! Beds were comfortable and the space was great! We enjoyed the available board games and had many oohs and ahhs "connecting" with connect four! The house is in a great location. Close walk to the boardwalk, beach, and many stores. My husband and I biked or walked almost every morning to the board boardwalk. We biked to the pickleball courts almost every day too. After 1145 the courts are open to the public for 5 bucks a person. My boys also loved how close the basketball courts were. The front porch was great too! This house is close to everything, yet on a quiet street. Definitely recommend and hope to return again next summer!

Beautiful house, Quiet Area

Being about 4 blocks from the beach, the house is close enough for easy access to the beach and boardwalk, but far enough to avoid the noise of the boardwalk, and the traffic that is found close to the boardwalk. The house is clean, very comfortable, great porch, comfortable beds, and all the amenities and kitchen supplies needed for the 6 of us.

Our family loved it

My family and I stayed from June 24-July 1, 2023, the check in process was a breeze, everything noted in the description was accurate. We parked around back where there is a garage and an extra space as well, my in-laws parked on the street in front with no problem. The inside was spacious enough for our crew, four adults and two kids under two, we also had two more adults visit for a night with no problem. Rooms were spacious and the balconies were a nice touch. The front porch was amazing, we spent a lot of time out there, plenty of seating to just relax, or a table for meals. Close to everything beach and boardwalk about 5 blocks. The unit was clean upon arrival and we used our own sheets and towels as per the instructions. This was the lower unit so there is a unit above, just to keep in mind but that didn’t bother us at all. The only thing was no BBQ to grill on but that’s just preference, we would 100% recommend this place and will be back for sure.

Long weekend

Love this location! Stayed for a week at the end of June/early July and loved it so much that we booked for a long weekend in September. My girls, ages 8, 5, and 2 had a blast! Hope to return next summer!

Great Ocean City Property

We had a wonderful time staying at this Ocean City property in August 2022. The house was very clean and exactly as described in the listing. Having parking was a huge benefit as we could come and go as we pleased without worrying about losing our spot. It's a bit of a walk to get to the beach and boardwalk but totally doable and it helped us walk off all the yummy food we ate! The owners provided very detailed information and were very responsive to our questions. We would absolutely stay here again the future.

Nice condo and location.

My family and I had a wonderful time. You can walk to the beach, broad walk and shops. There are 5 bikes that you can use and 6 beach chairs. We brought a our own folding sun shelter. I don’t remember seeing a beach umbrella. The shower outside has cold and hot water. There is a vacuum you can use which came in handy because as hard as you try not to track sand into the house it impossible, Some sand gets in. I like to walk around barefooted and I hate feeling sand or dirt on my feet. That’s why the vacuum came in handy. Lol. We felt very comfortable staying there. It was wonderful. Any questions. The owner gets back to you right away. They are wonderful people.

Lovely front porch; comfortable beds; good communication with host

This rental had a nice open-floor concept for family gatherings with comfy furniture and large table for meals. We enjoyed spending time on the large front porch, however, it is on a very busy street. Use of beach chairs and bicycles was a huge bonus! Renters should be aware that there is an upper rental which some may find annoying. (We had a young child above us who was a jumper and a runner.)

Return summer vacation

This was our second consecutive year spending a week at Karin's beach house and we loved it again! It worked out great for my wife and I, my parents, and my two kids (a 4-year-old and an 18-month-old). I don't have much to add from my review from last year: The location is nice in that it's a reasonable walk to the beach and boardwalk, even with two young kids (though I wouldn't want to be any farther west on the island). The beach around 14th St is also less crowded than around 9th St, especially when we go around 10-11am. We walked to the beach every day and then again to the boardwalk every night without issue. We once again enjoyed the porch, especially since it's on the west side of the street and so gets shade in the afternoon and evening. Proximity to Cathy's 14th St Bakery, my favorite donut spot in OCNJ, was also nice again. This year we even met one of the families that stays down the shore the whole summer. They had kids similar in age to ours and were kind to us, which was nice. The people who own the unit above were also nice and not at all a disturbance. The provided parking spot was nice for our one car, and we didn't have any trouble getting parking on the block for our other car (free and unlimited time street parking). We hope to return!

Family Summer Vacation

Lovely condo with great location that was perfect for myself, my husband, and our three girls! 2 other family members joined for part of the time, and the condo suited us perfectly! Loved the front porch! Looking forward to staying there again!

Perfect Family House

Karin was absolutely amazing to work with and her house is stunning. Her pictures and descriptions were extremely accurate. The house also was beyond baby-friendly - included a gate to put up to keep our little one away from the stairs. The furniture and layout was baby-friendly including outlet covers. Location was amazing - short walk to boardwalk/beach and all amazing food places. Would definitely stay again!

Summer vacation with family

We had a great week at Karin's property with our 2 kids (age 3 and 8 mos.) and my parents. My brother even came out for a couple nights and stayed on the pull out (which worked well). We like the location--I wouldn't want to be any farther west, but it's still close enough that the walk to the beach and boardwalk are reasonable even with the kids and all our stuff. You can walk directly to a nice beach entry point that's less crowded than the 9th st area, and you're right at the southern end of the boardwalk there. There are also great little spots within a couple blocks of the house: e.g., Cathy's 14th St Bakery, Crazy Susan's Cookies. The property itself also has all the essential features of a good beach house--a nice big porch that's appropriately furnished, outdoor shower, balcony out back for 2 of the bedrooms, parking spot out back, garage with plenty of space to park a car or store things to take to the beach, washer and dryer in unit, central A/C, plenty of space indoors to hang out and eat, though you can eat on the porch as well. Street parking is also pretty easy if you need to park more than 2 cars. For the price in my experience all of those features are rare to find. Karin was also prompt in her communication and easy to connect with. We didn't have any issues with noise or anything from the people staying on the 2nd floor. The 6 beach tags she provides are also a nice touch. I'd definitely recommend it!

Great place to stay for the week

We were overall happy with our stay. The location of the house was great. It took less than 10 minutes to walk to the beach and there were a number of restaurants within walking distance for take-out. We really enjoyed eating and hanging out on the front porch. The two bedrooms with the queen size beds were very nice. One of the twin sized beds was a bit shorter and not as comfortable for taller guests. We were very happy with our stay and would recommend this rental!

Amazing stay

Beautiful house conveniently laid-out with everything you need for a carefree week at the beach. The covered front porch seating was great for sitting and chatting and a plus for a rainy day. The garage was nice to have for storage and with parking available in front, we only needed to use the one spot behind the garage. Lovely home , wonderful porch, great location. Owner very accommodating and easy to work with.

The rental is wonderful. We love the location and the porch. It's A comfortable lovely home and we may be back next year if we don't need a larger place.

Lovely beach house in great location!

My family of 5 had the most fantastic vacation at this beach house in OCNJ! The house has a great open layout and excellent large covered deck! We’ve been going to OC for decades and this is one of my favorite locations on the island - near great pastry and ice cream shop, walking distance to boardwalk but not too close to the hustle and bustle. My kids loved playing at the park on 15th Street! Owner was very professional and informative. We look forward to coming back!

This has been our family summer residence since 1946, spanning three generations. So many family summer memories have been made here. In 2001 our property was rebuilt and newly renovated to become a year round vacation home. Today, we still enjoy fun family times in Ocean City NJ, both on and off season. We continue to enjoy the many benefits of living an Ocean City, New Jersey life style that is fun and entertaining as well as excellent for your health, well being and peace of mind!

You will love that you can park your car in one of two convenient off street parking locations. Our location is only a 7-10 minute walk to beach, boardwalk, and downtown shopping - a close walk to everything. Our home is comfortable and well appointed with everything you need to make your stay enjoyable. We look forward to having you as our guests this summer.

If you are thinking about beautiful white sand beaches, playing in the ocean waves, boardwalk strolls, morning runs on the beach , bicycle or surrey riding on the boardwalk, amusement rides, a game of miniature golf, surfing, boogie boarding or just a morning run on the beach. Or maybe it is enjoying Johnson's Popcorn, Kohl Brothers soft serve and freshly tossed pizza. Attractions and amenities are spread conveniently in Ocean City New Jersey. Our location is accessible enough that you will be able to easily walk or ride bicycles to get around and not have to get in your car!

Life Guard patrolled swimming and surfing beaches are an easy walk from the front door. The kids will love TJ's homemade ice-cream shop, as well as Browns’ donuts, which serves donuts that are made fresh right before your eyes. Head out the back of the Gardens to the Longport Bridge where there is a great dog-friendly beach. Enjoy bars and restaurants in Somers Point or take the short 9 mile ride to the excitement of Atlantic City's casinos, live shows, and great restaurants. Top off your fun-filled days stroll on the boardwalk.
