Make your summer a Cape Cod summer with this beautiful waterfront private home. With an astounding ocean view and amazing sunsets from virtually every room, this fully updated home has a true seaside aura. Fully stocked gourmet kitchen with state of the art appliances. Direct access from the backyard to the Shining Sea Bike Path, which extends from Bourne to downtown Falmouth and Woods Hole, where you can board the ferry to Martha's Vineyard. Take one of the on site kayaks and paddle through the quiet bay from the property's private dock. Chappaquoit Beach, Old Silver Beach and Little Island, all of which are approximately one mile away. Amenities: Central AC, Wireless Internet, TV, Linens and Towels Included. Sleeps 8: 3 Queen Beds and 1 Full Sofa Bed. Professionally landscaped patio overlooking the water. Short walk on bike path to historic West Falmouth Village, the West Falmouth Market, Village Café and Ice Cream shop, and the West Falmouth Library.

We are retired and have lived in New England for more than 40 years. We move to the Cape about 10 years ago because we love being able to enjoy every aspect of coastal life. We split our time between Falmouth and the ski mountains of Utah where we also offer a ski condo for rent which you can also find on this site.

W. Falmouth is a charming village with all the open space and quiet you need to relax and enjoy your time on the Cape, and yet with easy access to everything the Cape has to offer. Downtown Falmouth is just a short three miles from the house and offers year-round shopping, dining and entertainment. In addition, there are three beaches within a short 1 to 1-1/2 miles from the house, including Old Silver Beach which is known as one of the best beaches on the Cape. In addition, you can access the Shining Sea Bikepath right from the back door of the house, which takes you from Bourne to Woods Hole, where you can also catch the ferry to Martha's Vineyard. You don't have to fight the traffic either, as the house is a short 10 minute drive from the Bourne Bridge and gives you easy access on and off the Cape.

The house offers waterfront living from inside and outside. The original 1900 cottage has been renovated from top to bottom in 2015, offering all of the modern conveniences of a gourmet kitchen and water views from virtually every room in the house. In addition, the property has been professionally landscaped to create patios and eating areas overlooking the W. Falmouth's Snug Harbor and the best sunsets on Cape Cod. Plus, the backyard provides a private sanctuary for dining and grilling. You can kayak, bike or just enjoy the views and relax. You also have easy access to several of the area's best beaches within a mile and can walk to the charming West Falmouth Market and Village from the bike path which connects to the private backyard.
