Million dollar view!

A bit rustic, but the fabulous deck and view of the bay made it a truly memorable trip.

The Temu Version of a VRBOThis was easily the worst VRBO I’ve ever stayed in. The photos look great, but the reality is completely different. The view was amazing, but unfortunately that was about the only positive.My biggest concern was safety. Sections of the floor flexed so much underfoot that it felt like they could give way. Some areas appeared barely finished, and even the shower tile flexed when stepped on.The layout was bizarre and potentially dangerous. Part of the couch sat on a raised ledge with only a small area for your feet and roughly a two-foot drop beside it. I would be very concerned having children stay here.There were also lights I could not find a way to turn off, so I had to sleep with lights on. The entire space felt like someone tried to convert a crawl space or unfinished lower area into a rental without properly finishing the construction.I cannot say whether it meets code or who performed the work, but the flooring, electrical issues, unfinished areas, and overall construction raised serious safety concerns. This property needs substantial repairs performed by a licensed, qualified contractor—not more patchwork.It has potential because the view is spectacular, but in its current condition it is not safe, pleasant, or worth the money. I would not stay here again.

DO NOT STAY HERE DISHONEST LISTING

I dont know where to begin. The place was absolutely disgusting inside. You have to climb about 100 steep steps to get to the place, half of them are dangerous to step on. Rotted wood proped on some broken stone. Inside it looks as though the owner occupies the place as his and his chikd belongings were everywhere. The bathroom and several areas of the house look as though they had construction started but not completed or attempted to be finished by the owner. Sheets were dirty and disgusting. The furniture was dirty the house smelled and so did the bedding amd everything else. There was no coffee or coffeemaker. The fridge and bathrooms were filthy with left over stuff everywhere. DO NOT RENT HERE. LISTING IS MISLEADING.

(Per Oct 10th text message directed to me upon acceptance of her requsst to cancel the reservation due to her husbands Discomfort with stairs. “Thnks so Much Charlie …. We really appreciate that.* Sorry it didnt workout for us. Your views are beutiful here!“
