The place is not as pictured starting with mildew on the front door. When we opened the door the smell was so bad that we knew immediately that we had to book two hotel rooms for my husband and I and his parents. Besides the smell, the walls were scuffed and had peeling paint. The upstairs bedroom door would not close. I was told I would be refunded only one of the two nights and am filing a claim with VRBO and my credit card company. I have stayed at other rentals with this and other short term rentals and have never had a bad experience. I was shocked that this was so bad especially for the price, photos and previous ratings.

Convenient rental location

Nicely upgraded home with plenty of room for relaxation. Restaurants easily walkable. Nightime noise a concern (racing cars, squealing tires at 1am). Nextdoor neighbor a scary situation. Junk cars out front, home in major disrepair and looked abandoned.

Perfect Location

Loved the location. Joshua quick to respond to any questions and made everything so easy. I will definitely stay here again.

Comfortable House, Walkable Neighborhood

Good: The house had everything we needed, and was located close to restaurants and businesses. There is a comfortable front porch to sit on and the neighbors said hello. Bad: There were cigarette butts on the porch and the interior had a slight odor of cigarettes.

Jacksonville cottage

We were in Jax for a family gathering with friends. Great location-our friends lived 5 minutes away Felt safe. Cozy place. Quiet neighborhood.
