We had a wonderful time staying at this place in Dewittville right on Chautauqua Lake! The property was well kept, clean and the backyard was right on the water front. The hosts put in a new dock which made viewing the sunrise or sunset outstanding. The enmities like the washer and dryer and the pool was a real plus and came in very handy. It felt like we were staying right at home. The hosts were excellent too, friendly and very prompt in returning communication. I would recommend staying here while at Chautauqua lake to anyone. It really is " a hidden gem" on the lake!

The house was very clean and comfortable. The dock with not being able to tie the boat to the dock but the launch is just a couple if miles down the road. We did not use the pool (too cold) but it is very nice to sit in the sun and relax. We are very happy with our stay.

The description of the property is spot on, this is truly a hidden gem on the lake. The location was great and allowed us to explore the area as we had never been to Chautauqua Lake. We were also able to venture out to Niagara Falls and book a charter fishing trip on Lake Erie. Our boys loved having the pool out back, the kayaks, basketball court and the rocking chairs on the porch were a couple other favorites. With it being pet friendly we were able to bring our dog along for her first vacation which was nice. The house was stocked with everything you could need while away from home, we would definitely recommend this hidden gem to anyone looking to rent in the area and we would come back for another vacation to Sunny Cottage.

We’re Kate and Greg, and we live in Cleveland, Ohio with our lovable furry roommate. We’ve always had a sense of adventure, from wandering state forests to discovering remote islands. Hosting has long been a dream of ours, and this property is the perfect way to share a place that means so much to us. We’re down-to-earth and genuinely excited to welcome guests into a space that’s close to our hearts.

この宿泊施設のオーナーになった理由

Chautauqua holds a special place in our lives. Kate grew up visiting the lake with her family, and those summers created memories that have stuck with her ever since. When we started a family of our own, we knew Chautauqua had to be part of that story too. The area’s charm and natural beauty are undeniable, and we love the peacefulness that comes with being by the water.

この宿泊施設の特徴

Our cottage stands out for its prime spot on the lake, offering a sandy bottom and sweet, clean water that’s perfect for swimming or simply enjoying the view. Beyond the location, what makes it truly unique is the personal connection we have with the area. This isn’t just a rental for us—it’s a place where we’ve created lasting memories, and we’re excited to help our guests do the same. It’s the only property we have, which makes hosting here all the more special!
