Welcome to Diamond Beach 609 - Sunrise on the Coast, your perfect seaside escape in Galveston, Texas! This beautifully appointed condo is located on the 6th floor and comfortably sleeps up to 8 guests across 3 spacious bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms.

As you enter, you’re greeted by a long hallway that leads to the first two bedrooms, each featuring a comfortable queen bed and ample space to relax. Along the hallway, you’ll find a full-sized bathroom, conveniently equipped with a washer and dryer, making it easy to keep up with laundry during your stay.

The heart of the condo is the main living area, where stunning ocean views greet you through a wall of windows. The condo was clean and check in was easy. The view is very nice. The sliding door to go outside is heavy and a bit of effort to open. Kitchen has all the amenities and appliances are new. furniture is comfortable except one of the twin beds that seemed uneven. The bathtub is really high and does not have grab bars. The second bathroom is a walk-in but could also use some bars. The pools are great. The lazy river and bar are great. Location is good. Coffee shop across the street is nice. My only gripe would be the common areas, they are hot with no AC. The games in the game room didn't work, the theater, hot, the gym, hot. Management should address that. I would stay again

Good. Slow drain in bath. No hot water in kitchen. Plug not working on patio. Prefer a television in each bedroom. Recommend handrails in shower.

Nice Place.

I first would say we will definitely stay at this place and this unit again. Great view and location to beach. Facilities are top notch. Only reason I didn’t give it a perfect rating is when we arrived ( only 2 nights) the refrigerator was not functioning. Never cooled down so we were not able to have beverages or foods to be stored. Service responded but did not send anyone to fix. Would have been nice to have it working. Rating of a 9/10!

The Patio

Everything was nice except when we showed up the handle to the sliding glass door was broke. We couldn't access the patio for our entire stay and this was a big part of why i rented the condo. This was the only bad mark, but it was a big one for us.

Nest thermostat

The Nest was scheduled to go to 82’ air conditioning at 2:00 am daily. So it got super hot in middle of night. Good thing one person could figure out how to change it but it happened every night.
