From the moment we arrived, everything was outstanding. The host personally met us at check-in — something I’ve never experienced before — and it made us feel immediately welcomed. To our surprise, there was a birthday card signed by the management team along with macadamia nut–covered chocolates waiting for us. Such a thoughtful gesture!The condo was spotless, comfortable, and beautifully located with unbeatable views. The kitchen was stocked with everything we could possibly need — towels, linens, soaps for both bathroom and kitchen, toilet paper, paper towels, and more — giving it a polished hotel feel rather than a lived-in condo.Midway through our stay, housekeeping came by, which was a very nice touch. The management company checked in regularly to make sure everything was perfect, and when we had one small glitch, they took care of it right away. Their attentiveness and professionalism truly stood out.Overall, this stay exceeded our expectations. I highly recommend this management company and will definitely book one of their Mana Kai properties again!

Mana Kai Maui Condo stay

Beautiful location. Good accommodations. Great response and followup by Ali'i staff. Highly recommend. However, the condo is somewhat dated and needs some minor upgrades and repair, nothing to distract from our stay.

Wonderful stay at a lovely beach

Location and views were incredible. Property needs some updating but I think that was made clear from the photos and past reviews. We would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful beachfront condo

This was our second stay at this property. Amazing view from our deck. Only a few steps from the beautiful sandy beach where you can take long walks. Absolutely wonderful! We will be back!

Amazing Location

This is the most amazing place to stay in Maui! The view from the balcony is stunning and the sunset view is perfect! Our kids loved the easy access to the perfect swimming beach and pool. It was wonderful to have a kitchen and easy access to laundry. This property was everything we could have wanted and more!

Beautiful Oceanfront Condo

The condo was exactly as described in listing. The view is just perfect and so relaxing, and it’s oceanfront! Our family eats breakfast at the lanai every morning as we look and admire the beautiful Keawakapu Beach. The condo has everything we needed, from beach chairs, beach umbrella, kitchen utensils, seasonings, etc. There were a few constructions and maintenance (pool) going on while we were there but Keiko and the property manager was very responsive to inquiries and concerns. We will definitely come back to this unit.

Beautiful

Prime location on the beach with spectacular views. We spent a lot of time enjoying the large balcony. The unit was comfortable and had everything we needed for our 8-night stay with my wife and 2 adult kids. Everything went smoothly from the reservation to check in. Well managed. Highly recommend.

Perfect Family Vacation

The description of the unit is very accurate - unit was clean and exactly what we needed for 2 teens, a gramma and my husband and I. There was always a custodian cleaner doing rounds all day - wiping little things that showed us the place is well cared for. The best was the view and that the pool is on the ocean. It was so easy to go sit pool side, then go swim with the turtles at the beach right off of the property. The beach and grass areas we public but not very busy or loud with music and beech parties. It was nice and quiet. The pool code kept the pool secure and our family loved that the pool was 7’ deep so they could really “swim” … the beach is clean and has good snorkelling in the morning. The unit itself isn’t super updated but the twin beds have nice memory foam toppers for excellent sleep. The King bed is comfy - there were ample pillows and blankets. The laundry was not busy and fine for what we needed to be washed. Lots of dishes and Tupperware and containers etc - we didn’t need the coolers but they were there. It was exactly what we expected. The outdoor hallway was clean and the elevators worked well. There are big cargo carts in the lobby if you need to bring in lots of stuff when checking in or out. The little tuck shop had essentials. There are restaurants 5 minutes away either direction. We felt safe and secluded and would highly recommend! Check in was easy and we could change the door code to a number we could remember. Till next time!!

Great Resort

The resort exceeded expectations as it was right on the beach and had nice amenities. The on-premise shops were very nice to have. There was great snorkeling directly in front of the resort. We enjoyed walking along the beach and boogie boarding in the ocean. The condo had great views from both the front and the back. The included amenities were nice to have: beach chairs, boogie board, pots, pans, beach towels, soaps. The beds and bedding were comfortable. The only complaint is that when the condo above is occupied, you can hear a lot of noises that sound like furniture getting moved around. I'm guessing it doesn't have carpet so you hear chairs moving around along with doors and dividers opening and closing. Luckily, the condo above was only occupied for less than half the nights we were there.

Best view from Lanai!

This was the perfect spot for our week-long vacation for two adults (friends) and their sons. The condo was well stocked with all the kitchen supplies, beach chairs and umbrellas, cooler, boogie board. Host was very helpful with questions prior to our stay. Local contact assisted with one request. Very convenient to Wailea shops & beaches. Highly recommend this! But keep a week free for us to return! Mahalo

The Mana Kai is no ka 'oi!

Without a doubt the Mana Kai is the only place I want to stay at on Maui. I've been coming here for 35 years and have tried different condos and you just can't beat it in my opinion. You have a great beach right outside with amazing snorkeling and sunset viewing. It has a very nice lawn with lawn chairs and a beautiful pool. There's a general store that is now managed by someone who gets it. They have great fresh food and a selection of so many things you either forgot or didn't know you needed like that Roselani ice cream! The rental shop has whatever you need from kayaks, paddle boards, and snorkel gear. There's even a concierge that can book your excursions if you need help. And don't forget orange kitty! So sweet. The unit we choose this time was perfect. It is very well appointed and had everything we needed. Loved not having to rent chairs and umbrellas. And a plus... the sofa bed is comfortable. It is decorated nicely and one of the best locations closer to the beach. Thank you for having us!

Goo overall but there are some issues that might be important to specific guests

Great location. The condo was clean and well equipped for guests wanting to cook. There were maintenance issues. The patio door lock was broken - its on the 4th floor so unlikely to be a port of entry by criminals but it would have felt better if it would lock. There is an electrical outlet on the patio we would have used but it did not work. My big reservation was slow internet speed. We had 2 days of rain when I tried to work. There are 2 radios you can use. The faster of them, that I measured at 20 Mbps was not working and the slower ran at only 1.56 Mbps which is paralytic.

Great condo at Mana Kai

Loved the location, walk right onto the beach from the lobby. Beautiful lawn, ocean view and wave sounds while sleeping. Plus, early morning yoga and market available on property as well. Will stay again!

Stellar Maui beachfront stay!

You won’t find a more incredible stay in Maui. You are literally beachfront/oceanfront, with panoramic ocean views with palm trees from your huge sliding glass doors that open up onto a patio with seating looking down onto the oceanfront and Kweawakapu Beach. The condo is impeccably furnished and kept very clean, with two full bathrooms and full kitchen with everything we needed, including beach chairs and umbrella and cooler to take the few steps down to the beach. The beach is beautiful and perfect for all ages with long stretches great for swimming and boogie boarding, and there is a great reef out front to snorkel at as well. There is also a small store in the hotel itself to pick up all sorts of items and a rental shop for boogie boards and surfing equipment, SUP boards etc. The owners couldn’t be more pleasant and responsive, they checked in with us to make sure we were happy and had everything we needed. I will never stay anywhere else in Maui. There is no where else where I am that close to the beach and have the huge beautiful views right from my condo. Amazing!!

Great condo with amazing beachfront views.

Just amazing views and access to the beach. The amenities were all great, and just overall a great stay. It was easy to check in and everything we needed was in the condo. We had great communication with the owner and easy to check in. There was plenty of towels and the appliances all worked well. Would stay again in a heart beat!

Beautiful location - clean condo

Fantastic stay in Unit 405 at the Mana Kai. Communication from the owner was great. The condo was clean and the resort is kept in great condition. Condo is right in the beach with great sunset views.

Great location and beach!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Mana Kai. The views, location and beach were amazing! We did have issues with cockroaches and the dishwasher. Every time you’d open the door cockroaches would be on the outside seal. Emailed the housekeeping contact with no response. Overall I would definitely stay here again!
