Clean, well maintained, comfortable furnishings, well-equipped kitchen, quiet location, reasonable price. This is a great place to stay in North Myrtle Beach. Great hosts to communicate with for arrival and departure.

Unfortunately, this property did not meet our expectations, and we would not choose to stay here again.One thing that would have been helpful to know before booking is that the unit is located on the third floor of an apartment building. The listing did not clearly indicate this, and carrying luggage and supplies up several flights of stairs was difficult.Upon arrival, the unit had a strong musty odor that reminded us of a damp basement. While the general cleanliness was average, the condo did not feel particularly well maintained. The beds were uncomfortable, and the pullout sofa was especially disappointing. The mattress was visibly worn and had lost its support, and underneath the sofa had not been cleaned.The primary bathroom had several issues that were concerning. The bathtub slopes noticeably, making it slippery when getting in and out, and the shower head was broken and could not be adjusted. The bathroom rug also slides easily on the floor, creating a potential fall hazard. We also found the primary bedroom closet and hallway linen closet to be cluttered and disorganized.Security and maintenance could also use attention. One of the entry door locks was broken and could not be used, while the remaining deadbolt was difficult to lock and unlock.Communication from the hosts was minimal. We received messages before check-in and again with checkout instructions, but there was no follow-up during our stay to make sure everything was going well or to ask.
