We had a blast at Ironwood 523! Pool was within walking distance and we used the north tower poolAccess a lot which was super nice! The condo was super clean and comfortable! Larry has a welcome book that was very helpful! Lots to do in the surrounding area. Larry checked in to make sure things were going good, which I appreciated. Check in was super easy! The fully stocked kitchen was nice and convenient! We hope to stay at ironwood 523 again soon!

Pleasant stay

We very much enjoyed our stay.Its just far enough away to be nice and quiet but just a short drive to the beach.We were there with our two teen aged sons who spent alot of time away in their own bedroom while my wife and I had a good sized bedroom to ourselves Nice and clean and comfortable.We would stay again.

I will recommend this place for family and friends. Perfect location in North Myrtle Beach also be able to be in Myrtle Beach in minutes. The resort was the best part. The property is better than expected.

Great place!

Beautiful condo! Very clean. Communication with the owner was quick and he was very helpful and accommodating! My kids loved the large pool which was just a short walk away from the condo. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Quiet Residential Location

We have stayed in various Barefoot communities over the years but this is by far the quietest building. Larry has replaced all beds and living room furniture which makes for a nice upgrade from the prior year (this was our second time round in this unit). If you are looking for a quiet residential location while visiting MB we highly recommend this unit.

We would stay again for sure

My family of four stayed at this property and enjoyed everything, plenty of room, very clean and smelled fresh. Definitely enough room for family of six too. The check-in and check out process were very easy. We contacted the owner with questions and he responded quickly. The kitchen was well equipped, even included water bottles & snacks on the counter and Keurig and K-cups. Walking distance to the community pool. We enjoyed the patio in the evenings. We would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful

This property was perfect for my family! It was a short drive to anywhere we wanted to go. The condo was beautiful and clean. Larry got back to us very quickly anytime we had a question! Having a washer and dryer was a must! We loved eating breakfast out on the balcony each morning! My favorite was probably not having to worry about keys as there was a code to get in for entry! My kids can’t wait to come back!

A Home away from home

Property was perfect for my family of four. We was at Myrtle Beach for the AAU basketball nationals. This villa was very clean, cozy and has everything you needed to feel at home. My son especially loved the back patio. We loved sitting out there watching the rain. Community was quiet and close to many attractions. It’s a short drive to the beach and shopping area. The owner was very fast to answer any of our questions and easy to get in touch with. Checking in and out went very smooth and easy. Overall a very enjoyable stay. Thank you for sharing your sweet home with us!

Winter Retreat

We have stayed in Barefoot for the past few years but this was the first time for this property. Obviously we enjoy the area as it and the related buildings are very well maintained. Compared to prior units this was clearly the quietest with very minimal noise. It is well equipped and a comfortable stay. A deserved shout out to the owner who is very prompt in replying to any questions which was most appreciated. The strongest endorsement I can give is we will be returning to this unit next year. Enough said!

Perfect spot

Larry’s place was perfect for our family of 5. Our younger kids slept in the bedroom with the two twin beds, our teenager slept on the couch, and my spouse and I took the primary bedroom. It was a perfect amount of space for the 5 of us. It was within a short walking distance to the pool. We visited the larger resort pool once but didn’t care for it as much as the smaller pool by the place. The balcony was great for reading with my coffee in the morning. Location wise, it was in a great spot too. A quick drive to Barefoot Landing, the beach, several great mini golf spots, and restaurants. The only negative thing I’d share has nothing to do with the actual rental. The neighbors upstairs - while I don’t know if they own or were renting - were quite loud the last two nights of our stay. Very heavy footsteps and sounded like they were moving furniture around at 12:30am. I wish I had brought earplugs. But it’s certainly not anything to keep you from staying at this location. And if you have any questions, Larry is fantastic at communicating! Quick to respond and very helpful. We would definitely consider booking this space again if we return to Myrtle Beach!

Beautiful stay

We stayed at this beautiful property last week and could not have asked for anything more! The house is nice and clean and provides everything you need to enjoy your vacation. It offers access to two different pools and is very local to all the tourist attractions in Myrtle beach. The owner was very quick with her responses and we would love to stay at this property again. 5 Stars!!

Hi, we’re a family of four from Staten Island, NY—my wife Stacey, myself, and our two daughters, Jocelyn and Cassidy. We’ve always loved traveling together and making memories as a family, and North Myrtle Beach has become one of our favorite places in the world.

Stacey owns a landscaping business, and I run a home care agency here in New York. Life stays pretty busy for us, so our vacations are something we truly cherish.

We first discovered North Myrtle Beach about 8–9 years ago when we stayed in Barefoot Resort. From the moment we arrived, we fell in love with the area. The beauty, the relaxed atmosphere, and especially Barefoot Resort itself made a lasting impression on us.

We enjoyed it so much that we returned the very next year—this time bringing both my parents and my in-laws. We stayed in one of the townhomes and created even more unforgettable family memories together.

Before discovering Myrtle Beach, we used to vacation in Ocean City, MD. But after experiencing North Myrtle Beach, we never wanted to go back. The ocean water is warmer, the sand is softer and less gritty, and the entire experience just feels more enjoyable and relaxing.

What we love most about North Myrtle Beach is that there is so much to do—great restaurants, shopping, golf, entertainment, and family activities—yet it still feels more peaceful and less overcrowded than other beach destinations.

Owning a vacation rental has been a dream of ours for years, and in 2020 that dream finally became a reality. We take great pride in sharing our home with guests and hope that you enjoy it as much as our family does every time we visit.

The condo was completely updated in 2021. Updated kitchen with new granite countertops, marble flooring, and new appliances, new wood flooring throughout, new furniture, bathrooms remodeled, and smart TV's in the living room and both bedrooms. Barefoot is a central location close to lots of restaurants, shopping, attractions and just minutes from the beach! Ironwood is the only community in Barefoot Resort with their own basketball court, tennis court, and volleyball court. The community pool is right behind the building. You can also enjoy the 2,500 sq. ft saltwater pool right on the water behind the North Tower at the Marina. Barefoot has 4 Championship Golf Courses. There is also a shuttle to the beach.
