Absolutely love the beach view!! Love staying at the Long Beach resort!! Overall room was very clean. Needs some deeper cleaning such as stove top, cushions on balcony, ceiling fans and definitely needs carpet cleaned.

The large pool was closed. There was construction going on. I just wish we knew that when we booked. The condo was great and the view was beautiful. Could use a few repairs and updates but was exactly what we needed for my family.

PRO's: The RealJoy team was super nice and very helpful on any questions we had. The view was beautiful. We loved the balcony! It was easy to get parked. The security team was nice and helpful. CON's: The condo wasn't cleaned before we got there. There was still trash from previous tenants in the bedrooms and bathrooms. The carpets were dirty. The toilet in the 3rd bedroom wouldn't flush properly. The 2nd bedroom, with the double beds, was so uncomfortably hot even with fans going and all curtains closed. The washer smelled soured. The fridge still had dirty dishes in it. It took forever for the fridge to cool down so we could put food in it. The building we were in didn't have a gym, we had to walk over to the next building. The elevator malfunctioned while we were in-between floors. When I called security, the elevator "bounced" and then starting moving again. It was scary since we were close to the top floor! There were ROACHES, big ones!

We experienced two major issues during our stay. The first was a leak in the ceiling of the first bedroom. We were simply told to place a bucket under it and "keep an eye on it," leaving us to listen to the constant dripping for the rest of our trip.The second issue was even more frustrating. One smoke detector needed a new battery, which caused all of the smoke detectors to alarm continuously for over an hour. RealJoy Vacations could not provide an ETA for someone to fix the problem and was difficult to communicate with. They repeatedly referred us to Long Beach maintenance, but the Long Beach staff explained it was an owner issue. Long Beach staff were incredibly kind, apologetic, and did everything they could to help.The security officers even commented that our trip had been "a lot," and the technician who eventually repaired the detectors apologized, saying he couldn't believe we had been left with the alarms sounding for over an hour.I want to be clear that the Long Beach staff and security were excellent. My disappointment is with RealJoy Vacations' poor communication, lack of urgency, and overall handling of these issues. I would not book through them again.

July 4th family vacation

We have stayed almost every year for the last ten years at Long Beach and this condo was one of the best 3 bedrooms we have stayed in. It was a great time and I would highly recommend this place for a family vacation.

Problems started less then a hour into being there. The issue at hand is still not fixed. I have had problems with that toilet since we checked in. To have to deal with an over flow in the back tank on a toilet you had to call about for two days prior and they still didn’t fix it is unacceptable, they had already been out twice to fix it. This is a vacation I have to deal with this at home shouldn’t have to turn water off on a condo toilet because it’s flooding your unit and get the response well we are scheduled to be there at the end of the day. This wasn’t us clogging the toilet this is a faulty mechanism in the tank it needs to be replaced. 10 min job I have done them myself so know it’s not hard to accomplish. The toilet itself is still running every 5 mins or so. Haven’t called again because of failed attempts already. I highly recommend fixing it before your next renters.There are MANY issues with this condo that was way over priced for what you get. We deserve a partial refund for all the inconveniences we have had to endure this week. No pot holders in the worst stocked dirty kitchen I have ever had in a rental. Malfunctioning blinds that don’t block any sun from entering room so you are up at first light! Pool closed first two days and only partially open now. Might want to consider cleaning glass decorations in kitchen they are covered in grime. I was not impressed with the length of time it took to address any issues we had and there were many.

We really enjoyed our stay. The property was great. Our only issue was the window coverings. The blinds are falling apart and there were no other options in the second king room so the street lights shined in your face all night.

Overall, the trip was great. When we first arrived, the entire set of blinds in the master bedroom were completely broken off. We had to put a sheet over the balcony doors just to get some privacy. I messaged the owner and it was the following day before anyone answered and then it was another day before the blinds were fixed. The owner had also asked if I wanted to know when maintenance was coming to fix the blinds and I said yes. No one contacted me and we just came back to the room from the beach and they were fixed. Another small issue was that the shower curtain liner in the master bedroom was completely molded at the bottom. Not a huge deal, but knowing how cheap these are to replace just made me wonder why it wasn't. The spare bedroom with the 2 queen beds is VERY warm. They do not allow you to turn the air down past 70 degrees and that room only has 1 vent and you can not cool it down. It is a huge difference in temp in that room. If you open the curtains during the day to see the ocean, the room feels like a sauna. I will add though, that we have stayed in this building in several other condos and this room is always like this. So, I do not think this is on the owner of this particular condo. A nice stay with just minor issues, so I would definitely recommend.

We absolutely loved this property. The views from every room are beautiful. Spacious living areas, bedrooms and bathrooms. Best floor plan I’ve ever encountered in PCB. Would definitely recommend!
