The property looks like it had been cleaned, but maybe weeks before we arrived. There was a layer of dust on everything and dead bugs (typical in the southern summer) in the corners of tall windows and corners. The beds were nicer pillowtops and but had lasting sleep impressions in them that rendered them a bit unforgettable. The kids didn’t notice at all but the adults did. When we striped the beds for cleaning services upon check out, the two queen bedroom mattresses didn’t have mattress covers and the mattresses were stained. The kitchen was plenty big enough but lacked enough dinner forks and spoons. The pots and pans need replacing as well as all the non-stick ones are no longer non-stick and had bent and burned areas. The dishwasher is not attached/installed correctly, so it will fall out of the cabinetry if you lean on the door. The stove and oven work well enough, but also have broken/over used parts. The recent painting upgrade of all walls and cabinets made everything look clean and welcoming. The hottub and home layout were great for families. It is perfectly located in between the grocery store, restaurants, and river tubing. *It is important to note that you can NOT reach the water from the property. This was disappointing, as this was the main reason we rented this home over others.
