Welcome to Casa Verde (the Green House)! Relax and enjoy this peaceful and stylish house and gardens centrally located to the best of Las Cruces, including downtown, NMSU, and Old Mesilla. Casa Verde is perfect for couples, small families, groups of friends, or individuals who want to enjoy being close to the center of everything within a quiet and friendly neighborhood. Make yourself at home in the open-concept living room/kitchen, the quiet sitting room, or the fabulous and spacious backyard.

Cozy up on the sectional couch to play games or watch a favorite movie on the TV with Roku guest mode. Put some classic vinyl on the record player. Make a delicious meal in the well-appointed kitchen, or grab a cup of coffee or tea from the coffee bar and enjoy it on the colorful back deck. Take advantage of the spacious backyard and fire up the barbeque or light the fireplace. Play some games or take a nap on the hammock.

Casa Verde makes the perfect home base for exploring the best of Las Cruces from the award-winning farmers and crafts market, live events, and restaurants downtown to the history and culture of Old Mesilla to the variety of cultural and recreational activities, including art galleries, museums, and athletic events at New Mexico State University.

Want to step out of the city and explore the area's natural wonders? Visit White Sands National Park, Organ Mountains National Monument, and Dripping Springs Natural Area. There are also great wineries and breweries, and don't forget the World's Largest Pistachio!

What a STAY!

The only disappointment I have is I am limited to 5 stars when this place clearly deserves more!I have stayed at plenty of vrbos and none of them have come CLOSE to this property right here. Casa Verde was welcoming from driving up to the property to opening the door. The rooms are cozy for when you sleep but when you are wanting to just relax the living area is calling your name. With comfy seating options, a tv, and a pellet stove you may not want to leave…unless it’s to try the wonderful bathtub!Angela was very prompt and welcoming to us. With the hospitality shown to us it made the memorial service for my step mom so much easier to handle.We will always recommend anyone to this place…unless we are wanting it first!

Old Mesilla

We came to New Mexico to visit the oldest pub, which is in Mesilla. (State #48 for us!) The rental was in a great location, was very comfortable, and had such charm! Having 2 King beds and 2 bathrooms is a plus for two couples. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the backyard had plenty of places to sit and enjoy nature.

Perfect accommodations for an easy ride to White Sands

Property was very clean and had everything we needed for a three night stay as we explored the area and visited the White Sands National Park. Too cold during our stay to enjoy the backyard but we settled in comfortably.

Casa Verde excellent stay

Angela was such an amazing host and I had such an amazing stay at Casa Verde in Las Cruces! From the moment I arrived, I could tell this place was designed with comfort and peace in mind. The property had everything I needed, with thoughtful touches throughout that made my trip effortless. Whether it was the well-stocked kitchen or cozy decor, I felt completely at home. The backyard was by far my favorite part—it’s absolutely stunning! I spent hours enjoying the peaceful atmosphere, lounging in the hammock, and soaking up the beautiful scenery. It’s the perfect space for relaxing or gathering with loved ones. The outdoor area is truly a gem and exceeded my expectations. The bathtub was another standout feature for me. It was the perfect spot to unwind after a long day of exploring, and the attention to detail in the bathroom added such a luxurious touch to my stay. Overall, this was such a wonderful experience, and I don’t think I can ever go back to staying in a hotel again unless I absolutely have to. Honestly no fluff, casa verde felt like a true retreat, and I’ll definitely be returning in the future. Highly recommend it to anyone visiting Las Cruces—you won’t be disappointed!

Very nice, well prepared B@B, comfortable inside as well as outside with games and fire place. Quiet neighborhood and close proximity to university. Would definitely stay again.
