5 Stars!We rented this VRBO for Christmas to be close to our father in Las Cruces, and Jennifer went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful. Since we were traveling, we hadn’t decorated our own home for the holidays, so it was such a delight to arrive and find the house beautifully decorated inside and out. We absolutely loved it.Jennifer was extremely responsive and easy to work with. The third‑party service we interacted with at the beginning of the booking process felt a bit clunky and uninformed, but everything improved significantly once we were in direct contact with her.I highly recommend this casa in Las Cruces for a lovely visit. It was well stocked, very clean, and in a great location.

This is by far my favorite property in Las Cruces. The home inside and out was decorated beautifully! The Christmas Decorations made it feel like home. The beds are comfortable, easy with our dogs, and a great location.

Welcome to Paradise!

We absolutely fell in love with this house from the moment that we walked in. The courtyard is a beautifully landscaped oasis with a soothing fountain. The house is spotless, and all of the furniture is of high quality and beautiful. And that view! The view of the Organ Mountains from the backyard is amazing! We could not get enough of it. The stress just melts away. It was such a treat to sit in the beautifully landscaped backyard and watch the ever-changing view of the mountains. We also enjoyed all of the hummingbirds and doves that came to visit. The property manager is a delight to work with, and she left us the most delicious biscochitos cookies upon our arrival. We learned they are the state cookie. This house was one of the best vacation rentals we've ever stayed in, and we definitely want to come back again.

Absolutely gorgeous flowers in the yard and beautiful views. The home was clean, well-decorated, comfortable, and had all we needed. The location was also just right- close to Natural Grocers and a park. Jennifer was an excellent communicator, and we were also happy to park in the driveway. Would definitely stay again.

This house has so many positives it's hard to list them all. It's beautiful, has incredible views of the mountains from the back porch, a lovely fountain by the front entry that made coming and going so peaceful. It was decorated with lovely fall flowers and decor, beautiful landscaping, and the owner was so kind to let us know about things to do in town. It was homey and spacious and very conducive to a relaxing time with family. If I ever go back to Las Cruces I will absolutely stay here again!

Summer interlude

The one part that always stands out time after time is the beauty of the mountains. To say that Durango Casita has a million dollar view is selling it short in my opinion. Plus when you figure in the accessibility to all of other venues, shopping, golf courses, museums, and restaurants you just can’t beat it. Especially at that price point you simply can’t find a property in the Las Cruces area that has this amount of amenities. You owe your yourself to put it on your bucket list of places that you need to come see to believe.

Great location, beautifully appointed. Enjoyed the peacefulness of the front garden with fountain as well as sunrise from the back patio overlooking the Organ Mountains. Early morning visits from doves, quail and hummingbirds were a great accompaniment to our first cups of coffee.

Relaxing Weekend in a Beautiful home

We have stayed here before and each experience is just as wonderful! The house is beautiful and very clean. It has everything that you need. We appreciate a nice pet friendly place because we love to travel with our dogs. The house provides plenty of space for us, our kids and our dogs. The gardens outside are beautiful and so peaceful. We will definitely stay here again!

Great home

What a stunningly perfect home away from home this was for us. We loved everything from the moment we walked up to the gate and into the beautiful gardens surrounding the house. The interior is airy, full of light, and charming. The bedrooms are generous in size and the beds are great. Nice bathrooms, comfortable seating in the living room, well appointed kitchen.We enjoyed our cocktails on the back patio and watched the setting sun change the colors of the Organ mountains.The owner/manager shared some excellent suggestions which made our vacation even more enjoyable.We would return without hesitation and highly recommend this home.

Great house, yard and location.

We really enjoyed this house and its view. The sunroom was nice for visiting and the living room had good seating for the 5 of us. All appliances are top of the line and the furnishings are very nice. It was very enjoyable.

Winter break 2025

The views are incredible of the Organ Mountain range and foothills leading up to them. Combined with the first rate accommodation you simply can’t go wrong with this place. Plus the centralized location to shopping and restaurants there isn’t anything like this to be found in Las Cruces. And if you like golf there are three courses that are within a five mile radius.

Great house. Liked the view.

Nice house. Liked that the bedrooms had separate bathrooms. Also liked the view of the mountains. Close to groceries and restaurants. Beautiful flower garden and well maintained. Had a question while there and they responded to email quickly.

An oasis in the desert

We enjoyed sitting in the indoor porch or the entrance with the flowing fountain watching a variety of birds and admiring the flowers and vegetation. It’s a lovely home with all the amenities that you could wish for; our hostess, Jennifer, made spot-on recommendations for great places to eat at.

High Quality

The beds were super comfortable-more comfortable than my new bed at home! The furniture high quality and comfortable, kitchen has all that you could need and the views of the mountains are very nice. Host was very accessible and accommodating during our week stay We will be back!

Beautiful Property

The property is beautiful and immaculate on a quiet street. It was even beautifully decorated for Christmas! I was not expecting that and the delicious biscochitos were an added touch. The views of the Organ mountains from the back yard were amazing. Our host was very nice. She responded timely every time we had a question. She even gave us suggestions of fun things to do in Las Cruces. We would definitely book this property again!
