It was everything promised plus more.....the house was so clean and well stocked. The view was spectacular even when the coyotes howled. The swimming pool was so lovely. It felt like a piece of heaven. Thank you

Beautiful home and view!

The property was stunning! The view from the backyard is heaven. Our family enjoyed the pool and loved sitting on the back porch as well as having brunch outside under the beautiful foliage. I would stay here again in a heart beat!

Best House Stay Ever

The farmhouse exceeded our expectations and was furnished perfectly. We stayed for the month of April, and had family and friends come out to visit. Everyone’s accommodations were comfortable and everyone raved about the house. The location was perfect for our needs, and it had spectacular views of the surrounding area. We have already booked a return visit for August, and will plan to stay there again for a month next year. Our hosts, Jennifer and Douglas, were easy to contact and their communication with us was flawless. Any issue that arose was immediately resolved by them. Can’t say enough about how enjoyable they made our experience.

Breathtakingly gorgeous

This house and property exceeded our expectations in every way. The house is big and beautiful. The views were spectacular, and the pool and hot tub were divine. Somoma Review

This was an absolutely beautiful property and perfect for our 70th birthday celebration. The house was immaculate and had all the amenities, including a fully equipped kitchen so we could spend the evening relaxing after a fun day of wine tasting. The view was inspiring and a great way to start your day over breakfast around an amazing dining room table. We all agreed that we would stay here again.

Loved the property, just needs a few improvements.

The house is in an excellent location and the views are amazing. The house has too much stuff including furniture and decorations. The kitchen is very well equipped and I loved it but the pantry and all shelves were completely full so my food had to be stored on the countertop. Bed linens need to be updated in every room. The best thing the owner could do is to get rid of clutter.

Absolute perfection!

Jennifer, the house manager was so kind and very responsive. We had a few questions and she always got back to us right away. All the house information and instructions were at your fingertips, as well as recommendations for restaurants, shopping, activities and more! The house is absolutely perfection. The views are spectacular! Sunsets and sunrises and all day watching hawks and hummingbirds. The pool was clean and easy to open and close each morning. It was truly an amazing setting with the views and pool area - by far the best we’ve stayed at! The Kitchen came with everything you could need for cooking dinners at home. We took advantage of the house so we cooked most meals there. The house is close to Healdsburg square and many wineries, which was so convenient for us. We will definitely be returning to this special place. Thank you, Jennifer, for making our short stay so memorable.

Incredible!

I stayed with seven other ladies to celebrate my 40th birthday, and the experience was excellent! Jennifer was very easy to contact, and she was responsive to all of my questions. She had great recommendations for local restaurants and wineries, and we took her advice in several instances--and we were not disappointed! The property is beautiful. As other guests have stated, the pictures do not do it justice. The home is very well appointed, pantry is well stocked, bedrooms are comfortable, etc. The only negative is that it is a bit far removed from some of the larger wineries in Sonoma, so be ready for a trek (at least 30 to 40 minutes). And Napa is over an hour away. However, being more secluded also means a more private, quieter, and more rural "wine country" experience, which was wonderful. The home definitely has a fresh and new feel to it due to the recent renovation, so it doesn't feel old or used. It is perfectly designed. When we were at the house, we spent the majority of our time outside by the pool or on the back porch overlooking the incredible view. You will definitely hear roosters and goats and some wildlife as it is more rural, which adds to its charm. I also appreciated that binoculars are in the home, as I enjoy checking out local birds. Overall, the experience was amazing, and I highly recommend this property. Interacting with a great owner is also key to anyone's enjoyment of a vacation. We all want to make this an annual girls' trip, and I look forward to our next stay!

Tasteful home with sublime views (healdsburg)

Before this visit I’d never heard of forestville, now I wish I lived there. The house is immaculate, the kitchen a chefs dream, the views are 360 degrees from the house of vineyards, mountains and morning coastal fog. You are close to healdsburg, a wonderful hike path to Sebastopol, Pinot noir country but settled into a sleet paced rural setting. Great owner communications and responsiveness. A beautiful home. Was sorry to leave.

Beautiful Farmhouse

My husband and I rented this beautiful renovated farmhouse for 3 weeks. We felt very comfortable, everything was clean and all amenities were at our fingertips! The owners provided us with detailed instructions concerning the house and a list of favorite wineries, restaurants, etc. The property is lovely - many places to sit outside and enjoy the view including the gorgeous pool and spa. We found it to be a great jumping off point to many hiking trails, a paved biking trail, wineries, the coast and Healdsburg. We hope to return some day soon!

Sumptuous Sonoma Retreat

We are pushing back from the gait at San Francisco Airport and we are all sad to be leaving. There are 6 adults in our party and we all feel the same. The purpose of our trip was to explore wine country of Sonoma County. However, after the first day we found ourselves looking at the clock and wanting to return to Jennifer’s beautiful home, perched on its nest above the rolling vineyards. Jennifer, thank you for being a wonderful host and allowing us to enjoy your amazing home. We loved the well stocked kitchen, in fact we opted to cook all our meals in and enjoyed exploring the garden to see what we could harvest for dinner! The outside of your home was just as magnificent as the inside; the pool and hot tub were key elements that promoted our relaxation and allowed us to decompress from our daily routines . We also loved the chilly quiet mornings which allowed us to do our HIIT workouts on pool deck! Found the yoga mats, they came in handy! Location was key, we were close to golf courses, vineyards, and shopping. In addition, your home was by far the cleanest property we have ever stayed at! Whoever wrote the review and suggested that you should declutter your home has no idea what they are talking about! It was those little things that made us feel like we were home. We often do not stay in a place twice but we definitely will book your place again when we return to explore more of Sonoma. This home is definitely for families and friends but not sure if I would bring small children that didn’t know how to swim and were mobile since the pool and hot tub are not secured with a fence. And if you would make that change then you would detract from your amazing views of the valley. Thanks again, Pam

Family time

Second time we’ve stayed in this lovey farmhouse. Incredible space that gives three generations of family space to come together and also have quiet respites. The photos don’t do the views justice and everything about the property is thoughtful. Great hosts and can’t wait to come back for a third stay.

Secret slice of heaven

If you are considering renting this property and are on the fence, do it!! You will be beyond impressed and happy with your choice. The views from the property are not given justice in the online listing photos. They are more expensive and more scenic than the listing shows. There is everything in the house that you would ever need! The kitchen is well stocked, the TV room has a ton of games, there are pool noodles and water guns, outside games like ping-pong and spike ball! It’s within 5 to 10 minute driving of some absolute gorgeous wineries with delicious wine tastings. On one of the days we rented we had a very special family celebration on the property. We were able to bring in a florist, a photographer and a caterer and all vendors were stunned by the beauty of the home and the views. I am so incredibly grateful for Jennifer and her great communication and making us feel welcome and answering all of our silly questions around getting the music speakers to work and getting the pool settings just right. This home will always have a special place in my heart. Thank you Jennifer!

Our group of 8 stayed here for a few days in the fall. The property exceeded our expectations! Very spacious, clean, fully stocked pantry, and unbelievable views. Great location for visiting Healdsburg vineyards. Highly recommend this property!

Amazing stay!

Thanks Jennifer for allowing us to stay at this beautiful house! We were 4 couples and we had a great time. The house is definitely incredible, lots of open spaces to share, including a fully equipped kitchen and bedrooms/bathrooms. Can't say enough things on the outdoor area... those sunset views over the valley are priceless.! The ride to downtown Healdsburg isn't bad, but it is a good 20 minutes ride. Keep in mind that getting Ubers in that area could be challenging, especially during the weekends.

Fantastic property and location!

Everything about this house is top notch. The pictures are great and they still don’t do it justice on how nicely designed and decorated the house is and how great the views are. The owners were very responsive on helping us find some things. We will definitely come back!

We love family and friends, we love to cook, we love wine, we love to swim, we love architecture and design, we love to travel to Italy and France, we love scenic rolling hills in a rural setting, and we wanted to bring all of these loves together in one place.

The views are spectacular here and ever changing. The sunrises and sunsets with the mountains in the background are unparalleled. We relished the opportunity to renovate this house with respect for the details and history, while changing it in a way that is modern and conducive to family gatherings and relaxation.

The living room has a beamed ceiling with a grand fireplace, the dining room has windows on every side, the kitchen is a chef's dream, the terraces on each side of the house have a distinct and lovely view, the bedrooms are all stylish and have their own views. The 5 acre property has a large hilltop pool and hot tub with vineyard views, terraces for dining and lounging, an arbor with mature table grapes, scattered apple, plum and pear trees, and new landscaping of native grasses and meadowland.
