Perfect for a 4 couple getaway or 2 Family gathering!!! Located in California's world renowned wine country, this 3,500 sq. foot Mediterranean home has casual elegance with expansive grounds, beautiful decks and patios, and SOLAR HEATED SWIMMING POOL (enjoyable from April-October). Take advantage of our fully equipped kitchen, spacious living space, wood burning fireplace, and breathtaking views from every room in the house. Our 4 large king bedroom suites are quite secluded both from each other and the common living spaces, and feature private full bathrooms (en-suite) completely within the bedroom quarters.

Enjoy the convenience of location with world-class Healdsburg wineries (property adjacent to Westside Wine Road. 13 miles to downtown), Michelin-rated cuisine, sightseeing at the Russian River and the beautiful redwoods of the California coastline - all just a short drive away. Whether you are celebrating a special birthday, family reunion, bachelorette party, or just looking to relax for a weekend in wine country, the space is designed for people who love to cook and socialize in an idyllic setting.

Well appointed home with spacious rooms throughout. Excellent kitchen appliances and plenty counter space. Our eight adult family members never felt crowded. Outdoor property pool and hot tub were perfect. Overall an outstanding experience in a secluded redwood tree experience.

The property was beautiful with plenty of room for 4 adult couples. The kitchen was well equipped with all the items you would need to cook any / all meals. The pool and hot tub added to the enjoyable stay.

This property is indescribably lovely. Perfect really. There is plenty of privacy in four bedrooms with baths, plus a terrific common space--an open-concept kitchen/living room that accommodated 8 adults with ease. We enjoyed games, cooking together, swimming in the pool, watching football on the very large screen T.V. Every room is so well appointed and comfortable. We had a marriage proposal in our family while there, and a photographer took photographs with the beautiful gardens in the background. Everyone in the family loved our stay here, and you will too. P.S. Bring ice--there are TWO refrigerators (nice), but neither makes ice, and the small ice machine does not fill the bill. It's a little uphill to get there, but nothing crazy. Other than that, you will want for NOTHING!

we loved the location and the beauty of the trees and the quiet of the Forrest.There could be a couple of things you should check on:the dishwasher needs to be serviced .It did not rinse on the cycle fully and seemed to hold water after running a cycle; this happened once during our stayOne of the shower doors was off track(lower bedroom)The closet doors in the master bedroom did not close all the way. Thanks so much we had a great time

Ideal get-away for 3 generation family fun

We returned for a second Mother's Day weekend stay with our adult "kids" and grandkids. We appreciate having wonderful outdoor and indoor space to hang out, cook together, play, and relax. With views of the redwoods, the house gets lots of sunshine due it the hilltop location. Close to wineries and a popular Russian River rocky beach. We plan to return next year!

Forestville Rental

The house and grounds are fantastic. Our only glitch was the Internet coverage which uses Starlink satellite. It worked fine for regular use, but one of our family was working remotely and she could not reliably do Zoom calls. She had to go into town and rent a daytime workspace. So unless you are planning to work from there, everything is perfect. Terry, the property manager, was extremely helpful.

Weekend Getaway with Friends

Great location on top of a hill in Sonoma. Very beautiful setting and incredibly peaceful. Perfect for multiple couples (four bedrooms/four bathrooms). Outside spaces were excellent. Having said that, it is starting to become a bit dated (e.g. furnishings) and could use an outdoor firepit and place to eat a meal for more than 4 people. Otherwise, would definitely return for a weekend with friends.

Huge space for multi-generational family time

The house is big, beautiful and spacious for our multi-generational family time. The big open kitchen and family room was awesome. The upstairs rooms are great and one of the downstairs room is a little odd with the shower in the bedroom and the toilet in another room but it was fine. The two refrigerators and the hot tub were great perks! It is in a very remote location in the trees! We would definitely come again.

Private Peaceful Perfect Property

We had a great time at this grand villa perched on top of hill in a perfect location. We were 4 couples (family) getting together to celebrate some special bdays and it was the perfect spot. All 4 bedrooms had en-suite bathrooms, living space was open and bright, pool/pool toys were a dream during the 104 degree weather! Althought not super modern, this clean, fun and quirky villa was a great find and we highly recommend!

Beautiful and secluded Russian River estate

This property was large, peaceful, and just beautiful. The pool was so fun to swim in every day. All the bedrooms had large comfortable king beds and their own bathrooms. The property manager was super hands on and helpful. We will absolutely stay again!

Family oasis of tranquility and warmth.

If you have “been there, done that with the “resort for extended family scene” with too many in the pool(s), over-priced food, and less than ideal privacy, this beautiful place up in the woods above Forestville is an absolute must. It’s a spacious, fully equipped, secluded and comfortable gated location. Wildlife abounds, including a flyover by a bald eagle We were accompanied by our elderly grandparents from the DC area who enjoyed what may be their last time to spend truly quality time with their four young grandchildren. When leaving this morning, grandma commented that it was the best vacation and finest location she has ever spent time at. We are unanimous in sharing her opinion.

Spectacular Vacation

The house is perfect for couples traveling together. The bedrooms all have King beds and en-suite baths. The kitchen was well stocked. The pool and hot tub were wonderful at the end of the day! The drive to the house was a little intimidating at first, but we quickly got used it. I would happily return to this house.

Memorable Mother's Day - 3 Generations Enjoyed!

Our group of six adults and three children (2 Grandparents, 4 parents and 3 children) greatly enjoyed the property. The grounds are beautiful, and the house is spacious. We took turns cooking in the well-equipped kitchen and used the outdoor kitchen and barbecue as well. The location is great, with access to parks on the river, the Jenner Highlands, and nearby wineries. Beds are comfortable -- and the pool (with warm tub) and separate hot-tub made this a great vacation spot! Everyone wants to return next year!

Wine Country Retreat

This beautiful home was wonderful for our extended families. The large open living area with a huge table and open kitchen made being together, talking and catching up so enjoyable while we cooked, and celebrated two birthdays. The outdoor area is lovely with plenty of seating, outdoor grills and pool with hot tub. Exquisite!

Great place

Place was pretty much as described in listing. We loved it. It’s a great location surrounded by trees with a south/SW facing resort style backyard. Plenty of comfy patio furniture to relax on and enjoy the sun. There are two hot tubs. The one pictured as part of the pool is not heated in winter. There is an above ground Jacuzzi beyond the pool that is heated. It comfortably seats about 4-5 adults, so not all 8 in our group fit in at one time, but the tub was enjoyable and we were happy it was there. All 8 of us agreed we would like to stay here again because we enjoyed so much. If you like to keep things clean, then you should bring your own products like 409 for countertops or that kind of thing as we did not find any of those things on property. Thank you to the hosts!!!!
