Bring the whole family to The Ridgeview Retreat, a NEW vacation rental backed up to the beautiful Black Hills of SD, with wildlife roaming the yard for you to watch.
This is our beautiful home that we’re so excited we get to share with you.
We have multiple amenities- both fun and relaxing. While staying at our beautiful Black Hills Ridgeview Retreat you will find that it has 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms with two separate living areas, one containing a game table (air hockey, foosball, ping pong). The house can sleep 11 people, this includes use of the bunk bed room. (children 5 and under are not counted in this number allowed) there is also an air mattress. You can relax on the large deck, that overlooks the pine’s, while you sit in the hottub or around the fire table.
Being centrally located, you can reach the MANY local Black Hills attractions. There’s endless sites to see and things to do.

We had a great stay. The house was in a great location for hitting the trails with the side by sides. The only thing I was surprised by was a tenant living in the garage apartment. I did not see this in the description so we were all a little shocked when we seen someone living right there.

Property represented well, in the middle of many attractions from deadwood, sturgis, mt.rushnore, hill city, bear country etc. So if you are wanting to visit multiple locations, it is in the middle of all. Grill and hot tub were clean and in good working condition. Would stay again.

This property worked great! It was quiet and lots of sleeping options. The hot tub and foosball were an added bonus as well.

Quiet place in Blackhawk

Nice place to stay for a group of 8-11. Accommodated our 2 familes. Great location to get away but close enough to see the sites of Rapid City and close by cities.

Our hosts were great to work with. They were quick to respond to any questions or concerns we had. The house was awesome. We were 9 adults a teenager and infant and the house worked so well for us. The views were amazing lots of wildlife to see and the hot tub was a big hit! I would definitely stay here again if I'm in the area

This pet friendly property consists of a huge covered outdoor deck with hot tub, parking, a large kitchen and 4 bedrooms plus a baby room off the master. It’s located in a quiet neighborhood just minutes from Rapid City. I would definitely recommend this home as a base for the Custer, Deadwood, Sturgis area. The only negative I heard from our group was regarding the lack of cabinet drawers to store our clothes. Even with this I would rate this property a hard “9”. Out of 10.

Enjoyed stay in the Hills

The location of the cabin allowed us easy access to Rapid City as well as the Black Hills. It was enough out of town that we were able to feel like we were in the Black Hills. We would definitely consider renting this cabin again. Thanks!

2025 Atv Trip

We had a wonderful stay at this home in blackhawk! 9 adults and we all brought atvs for trail riding. Location was fantastic, close enough to town but far enough away that we got that cabin in the woods feel. The house was clean, had everything we needed, and there was plenty of space for everyone. Thanks for being great hosts and hopefully we'll be back next year!

Our stay was great! We were in the area for a family vacation to see Mount Rushmore and the surrounding areas. The house was beautiful and spacious enough to comfortably fit our group of 11. Beautiful views and quiet area as well. The kids really enjoyed the ping pong and Foosball table. The hot tub was an added bonus as well. Any issues we had, the host was very quick to respond and helpful. Would definitely recommend for families or groups!

Very clean beautiful home! Despite our misunderstanding, the host was very accommodating. We highly recommend this home for a large family vacation. Conveniently located to many attractions. The hot tub was a bonus that overlooked some beautiful scenery, including some friendly turkeys.

We are a sister-in-law team, married to brothers who ranch/farm together by Martin, SD. James & Abby have 6 children. John& Allie have 4 children with one on the way. As ranch wives we love to serve and host others! In 2021 we decided to take the leap and purchase our first property in Martin, SD. Then in 2023, we expanded to Valentine, NE and now the Black Hills. On top of being mothers we found our other calling. We hope you enjoy your stay!
