This house was very reasonably priced. It was clean and comfortable. The host provided check in and check out instructions that were easy to follow. I would highly recommend if you’re needing a place in Payson.

Beautiful little house. Really cute. They even had a Christmas tree & decorations up! Very clean too. The host was great and extremely accommodating. We will likely use again in the future at some point.

very nicely appointed cottage with updated amenities. Wifi worked fine, and the bed was comfortable, and the shower worked well too. Those are the things that make or break a VRBO for us.

I travel a lot and I stay at a lot of different houses. And this home was by far the coolest, the most quaintest, the cleanest and the most charming. My 2 youngest grandchildren were able to spend the night with us. One night, we roasted marshmallows and had a blast.

Has Everything you Need

Very nice with new features. The backyard is nice and quiet. Perfect Payson house.I couldn’t find the washer and dryer, but was too busy with Fourth of July festivities I didn’t ask.

Cozy and charming home

We had a great weekend stay at this cozy home in Payson! We were looking to escape the Phoenix heat for a weekend and this was the perfect place to do that. Clean, decorated cute for fall, darling coffee station, and comfortable beds. Owner was very accommodating and prompt with communication.

High Country New Years Eve

I rented the place to spend New Years with some friends who own a home about a block away, so the location was convenient for a place to crash that was within walking distance. I didn't spend a ton of time in the home, but it was clean and perfect for what I needed. The backyard looked like a cool hang place if it wasn't so cold during our trip. FWIW, some of the neighbors were kind of grumpy, so I'm not sure I'd want to make a ton of noise there after 9pm or so. Also, the dogs next door will bark at you non stop unless you go over to them and say hello (they were very friendly towards us after we petted them and stopped barking the rest of the time we went in an out of the house.)

Very poor water pressure in shower!! Bathroom mirror about fell off wall when wiping the steam off. Had to go buy our own clothes hangers and laundry basket/hamper. Had to purchase a frying pan. (Cooked eggs in a stew pot, ugh) many dishes were dirty and ended up washing dishes before using. VERY BARE minimum on kitchen utensils, steak knives were terrible, stove utensils handles fell apart. (rubber) Out dated food in freezer!! Started using the grill for our family bbq and RAN out of propane!! TV was terrible! every few minutes it had to buff. Was told to bring our own towels! Come to find out there was a "few" towels but NO extra sheets/Bedding and ended up buying our pillowcases!! Cute dining table with saddle stools, but no one could sit at table because stools were too high and legs didn't fit under table so used the stools for couch & chair side tables. NO sport channels unless you wanted to pay!! The Krug coffee pot decided to take a poop, so ended up trying to clean and get it working but no go. (Went thru about a dozen K-cups!) She did have a larger tower machine, water looked gross but was the frosted bottle. All & all we made it work but we have stayed in MANY VRBO's and have never experienced not having the bare amenities!! WHOEVER is cleaning this place and over seeing for rentals really need to buff up on how to prep a rental!! We paid a pretty price for this place!! I don't even know if we paid a deposit, but didn't get anything back...ugh.

Thank you for your feedback. I’m sorry to hear your stay didn’t fully meet expectations. I truly care about providing a comfortable and welcoming space for every guest. During your stay, I checked in regularly to ensure everything was going well and tried to accommodate your requests, including holiday decorations and additional amenities. Had any concerns been shared at the time, I would have gladly worked to address them right away. For clarity, housekeeping is always offered but optional, and some amenities (like propane for the BBQ) are guest-supplied as noted in the listing. I do my best to be transparent so there are no surprises. I value all feedback and will continue working to give guests the best experience possible.
