6-bedroom Lakefront Lodge on 10 acres w/wifi only 13 miles to downtown Talkeetna

We have lived in Alaska for over 40 years and cannot imagine living anywhere else. This Lodge is our life long dream. The scenery, the wildlife and the people are what make Alaska great and we love to share that experience with others..

The turnoff to Talkeetna Spur Road, which leads to downtown Talkeetna and great views of Denali, is at milepost 98.9 off the George Parks Highway. The turnoff is marked by a wooden grizzly standing on its hind legs. We are just a short distance from there sitting on 10 acres on a lake just 13 miles from downtown Talkeetna. Situated conveniently within 1 mile of a grocery store and Denali Brewpub. It is a quick trip from Talkeetna to Denali National Park, about three hours on the road or four hours by rail. The Denali Star train departs Talkeetna and arrives in Denali Park just over four hours later. We are close to some of the best salmon fishing on The Talkeetna River and surrounded by wildlife, hiking and 14 miles of bike trails. Peace and quiet await you at the Lodge. Privacy and solitude are here in abundance. There is also so much to do here and we can't wait to share it all with you!

Enjoy your morning coffee sitting on the deck overlooking the water watching for eagles or moose. We are private and secluded sitting on 10 acres on a lake. You are welcome to use our pedal boat or one man pontoon boat and fishing poles to fish our lake for Rainbow Trout. Fishing license required as are life vests which we supply. Feel free to use the two bicycles we have available as we are surrounded by 14 miles of Bike trails that runs the span of the Spur Hwy, all the way into downtown Talkeetna. There are great hiking trails nearby as well as other lakes to visit and explore. Or just sit around the outdoor firepit and take in the views and make plans for dog sled tours or airplane glacier excursions in nearby downtown Talkeetna.
