Your home away from home.
I'm seeking to rent my house for 30 days or more during July, August or September.
The house is a 2 bedroom / 1 bathroom with a queen tempurpedic bed in one room and two twin beds in the other room. It sleeps four and might be perfect for professionals seeking transitional housing, a business person on a short term assignment or a family of four.
Linens, TV, WiFi, Washer/Dryer, Kitchen Appliances, Utensils, etc. included.
It is conveniently located in Allandale near Central Market and all the great restaurants on Burnet Road. It is very central to everything - 10 minutes to Downtown, 10 minutes to the Domain. 10 minutes to the University of Texas.
I'm new to HomeAway, but I have hosted through other sites where I am a "Super Host".
A deposit and references will be required. Please No smoking inside. No pets allowed. No large/loud parties. Please have fun, but respect our neighbors!
BEFORE YOU INQUIRE:
I require all of my guests to complete at least 3 personal verifications, including a phone number, through Homeaway before giving pre-approval to book for safety reasons. To promote safety for my guests, house and neighborhood, I do request the full names of every individual whom will be staying in the house and the license plate of any vehicles that may be parked on the premises. Please take time to complete your profile and these verifications before inquiring!
Four day minimum booking during SXSW. Three day minimum booking during ACL fest.
For my guest's and my safety, there is a security camera at the entryway. Please do not tamper with the security camera, lights or locks. I reserve the right to fine and/or evict any guest that tampers with the home security devices.

I think that I am a pretty ordinary person, but I know that I have lived an extraordinary life. I'm a young professional and media producer. My passions include backpacking, cooking, fly fishing, motorcycling, sports and adventure travel. I'm a Native Texan which means that I am honest, gentlemanly, proud, strong willed, entrepreneurial and adventurous. I was born and raised in Texas and now call Austin, Texas my home.
I have been fortunate enough to live in and travel through a number of countries throughout North America, Europe, Asia, Africa and Latin America. Some of my favorite places include Chile for it's natural beauty, Spain for it's old world charm, Singapore for it's modernity and Austin, Texas, USA for it's warm friendly people.
I'm a traveler. Drop me off anywhere in the world and I will find my way. I'm more comfortable living out of one bag than living in my own house. As long as it is not moving, I'll eat it. I love trying to communicate with someone when we do not share a common language.
When I am in Austin, I enjoy hosting people in my home. I've lived in Austin long enough to know about both the interesting tourists activities and the places where only locals frequent.

Location, location, location. While I'm not in the busy downtown area, my house is central to everything in Austin. It is close to one of the best gourmet supermarkets in town called Central Market, close to all the trendy restaurants on Burnet Road and it is one of the safest and quietest neighborhoods in Austin. Many new and longtime residents of Austin choose to live in Allandale because it is an established neighborhood that offers a great sense of community, lovely homes, lots of old trees, and big lots. All these fantastic features give the neighborhood a very traditional, family-friendly feel. Nonetheless, Allandale is one of the most central neighborhoods in Austin, just minutes away from Downtown nightlife and surrounded by many of the historic parks of Old Austin. Nearby Burnet Rd is full of classic Austin small businesses, with many mainstay and up-and-coming independent retailers and dining options.
