The house was clean, nicely decorated. The pool and hot tub had debris, lots of it, you couldn't see the bottom of the hot tub because so much. Pool was bad too. He did send the pool guy a day earlier but the pool guy said that they got the cheapest pool maintenance and it only gets vacuumed once a month. So, we were unable to use the pool or hot tub, the tub actually stinks. Also, the house was supposed to be stocked with essentials. We have stayed several places and there has always been aluminum foil, paper towels, garbage bags, sugar, coffee etc. It's always been a rule that if you use it all you replace it. We had to buy EVERYTHING, which was very expensive to do. The manager said it was because of covid. Well, he uses that as an excuse because you don't throw out garbage bags, paper towels, aluminum foil, baggies etc and keep opened popcorn, many jars of spices, olive oil, hand soap reusable containers etc. The second time we tried to discuss the pool and hot tub the manager would not let us talk at all he kept shouting over us and kept doing that every time we tried to talk about it. Also, the grill was brought up to him initially, it is a mess, filthy and it looks like it was on fire 🔥, he didn't care but expected us to clean it. Also there is a house manual that has information on many aspects of the house and equipment. The information on the hot tub clearly requests testing the water with test stips before using but none were provided. We were there for 2 weeks after a week the internet went out, we were told to call which was not easy because we are not the owner and after about an hour and a half we got someone who would listen, they would come out sometime in February. We talked to the owner, he sent us a copy of the conversation he had with them, he asked how they were going to compensate him for his lack of revenue because he had someone renting the house right after us. And he got them to come early, a half hour before we had to check out. This is a beautiful house, could be a great vacation spot but with cheap management that treats clients very disrespectful they will need to change things because the manager did not care at all and loved to yell a lot instead of fixing anything. We took pictures of everything, even the house manual. We left home essentials, aluminum foil, baggies, paper towels, laundry detergent and fabric softener, etc.
