Not a Good Fit for Families – Wouldn’t Book AgainWe’ve had great experiences with VRBO, but this rental missed the mark. It’s listed as 3 bedrooms, but only has one bedroom. Other sleeping arrangements are a pull-out couch and small loft. The space is tight. We knew it only had one actual bedroom when renting and looking at pictures but the listing should be updated to be accurate. It was extremely hot in July, with no A/C and poor airflow. Noise from nearby bars lasted late into the night. Parking is not on-site — we paid 50/day for a garage blocks away. We also received a 175 cleaning charge for the high-end coffee machine, which only takes whole beans. We hadn’t used it — just the drip machine — but were told ground coffee residue was found.Location is central, but overall, this place wasn’t worth it for our family.

Beautiful location, unique architecture of the apartment, walking distance to the beach, restaurants and public transportation. My family of 5 had plenty of space. Highly recommend.

Great location

Everything was great, it was warm inside without air conditioning. It was also hard to sleep with the windows open because of the heat and noise from outside. The location was perfect though.

Apartment in Nice

The apartment is on the 3rd floor. Pe prepared to walk up several flights of stairs. The apartment is very well situated and has everything you need in the kitchen. It is not suitable for more than 3 or 4 people though. I would advise not staying there if the weather is hot since there is no air conditioning. There are 3 good fans though.

NICE family holiday

Really enjoyed our stay in Nice. Location is fantastic, everything is on your doorstep. The owner sent us lots of information on things to do etc. and was incredibly helpful.

Frank is an excellent host, very quick to respond to inquiries or issues, very easy to communicate with. The property is located in an excellent area, close to restaurants, night market, and beaches. The area is very noisy though, so if it's hot and you leave the window open, you will hear lots of noise. There is no A/C, the property is older and you need to walk up stairs to get to the unit. If you want to be where the action is, this is the place to be.

Lovely, charming, & comfortable

We loved our stay in this apartment. It reflected the mood and feel of Nice in the lovely colors, design, and location in Old Town Nice. Lots of activity and views out the windows and walking distance from anything one would want to explore while in Nice. Communication with owner was excellent. We would love to return someday.

Couldn't be more central! A home from home :)

Great location, lovely ambience and a real insight into the local way of life in the old town. Any issues and Frank and his team were on hand to resolve at pace. Make sure you don't skip leg day at the gym, as the stairs to the appartment are unforgiving. The compromise is the amazing original details in a 300 year old property. It started to feel like a real home from home :) Prepare yourself for the street noise in the late afternoon evening and night as revellers head out to eat and drink. We had to close the windows at night, but numerous fans are provided to cool the appartment in the absence of AC. The TV channels are local language only and reception was sporadic. Be prepared to buy essentials, we only had 2 toilet rolls for 4 people for 4 nights and the coffee beans ran out day one and we had to buy tea and sugar. It would have been nice to have these core cupboard items on arrival. So had to head straight out to top up. The water is drinkable but we bought bottled water anyway. All supplies are available at a local Epicentre or Monoprix. No more than a 10 min round trip. Minor gripes. 9/10 from us. Would be happy to stay again.

Our stay in Nice was amazing! The location was perfect—walking distance to everything we wanted to see. The apartment was clean and comfortable. Frank, the owner, was incredibly helpful with his recommendations and made our visit even more enjoyable. Highly recommend!

Great place in Nice!

Frank’s accommodation was nothing less than perfect! My friends and I enjoyed every part of the apartment, especially the coffee machine. The apartment is located very close to the main area with tons of restaurants and bars around. Thank you Frank for hosting us! If I ever find myself in Nice again I will be running to book this accommodation!
