The Escape House was the perfect base camp for our family of four to explore the eastern side of Puerto Rico. It was a quick hop to beaches, El Yunque, snorkeling, kayaking and had plenty of great restaurants nearby. Our personal favorite was Mama Mia. Tania was also awesome in communicating and the holiday decorations were a nice personal touch.

The place was just as described. I was confused at first because the listing noted king beds in all rooms, but when we arrived, it looked like two day beds and a king bed in the master bedroom. I was pleasantly surprised when we pulled off the cover and were able to convert the guest room beds into a king bed. So clever!! We loved it. My kids enjoyed playing games on the patio. I was just sad we couldn't take advantage of the pool. The home was clean and the area offered food and stores and the beach close by. Thank you for hosting my family in your home!

Great apartment with plenty of space for friends and family! It was spotless, easy to access, and Tania was always prompt and helpful with communication. If you’re staying on the east side of the island and planning to visit Vieques or El Yunque, this is an excellent place to stay!

Great place

The location of the property was excellent and in a gated complex. The unit was very clean and the beach chairs we found in the closet really helped us enjoy the beach! We had everything we needed and greatly appreciated having a washer and dryer in the unit.

Positive - Quiet relaxing spot , good communication , AC worked great, Beach chairs, cooler and umbrella a plus.Negatives - last day we stayed the code to the door was having problems, and maybe a few more ice trays

Couple night stay

Everything was great as for the condo. There was a blackout with the power for about 3hrs. The area is close to the marina and beaches are a 5-20min drive depending on which one you go to. Stores and places to eat are a 10-20min drive. First time to puerto rico and found that its the same each place we stayed as far as food and activities go (have to drive). All in all the stay was great.

Wir haben diese Unterkunft aufgrund der guten Bewertungen sowie der Nähe zum Fährhafen und dem Nationalpark gebucht. Die Lage ist ein guter Ausgangspunkt für viele Ausflüge. Grundsätzlich ist die Wohnung gut ausgestattet, allerdings sind die gesamte Anlage und die Wohnung sehr in die Jahre gekommen und renovierungsbedürtig. Das Bett quietscht und es gab keine richtigen Decken oder Bettwäsche, nur ein dünnes Laken und Tagesdecken. Spiegel und Waschbecken im Bad sind extrem abgenutzt und die Toilettenspülung einer der beiden WCs war defekt (auf Nachfrage wurde uns mitgeteilt, dass das Problem bekannt sei). Die Wände und alle Ecken sind schmutzig und staubig. Zudem ist überall ein modriger Geruch, besonders in den Bad und Küchenschränken, was Schimmel bedeuten könnte. Ingesamt würden wir empfehlen, lieber eine etwas neuere Unterkunft oder ein Hotel in Fajardo zu suchen.
