Set on two private acres with breathtaking views of Taos Mountain, Buena Vista combines traditional Taos charm with modern comfort. Enjoy morning coffee on one of two patios, soak in the private hot tub beneath a sky full of stars, or unwind by the outdoor adobe fireplace while taking in the beauty of the high desert landscape.

Inside, the 3,000-square-foot home features handcrafted Southwestern details, including a classic kiva fireplace, traditional viga ceilings, and artwork celebrating the people, architecture, and landscapes of Taos. The inviting living room, gourmet kitchen, and spacious dining areas provide the perfect setting for relaxing evenings and memorable meals.

The chef in your group will love the fully equipped gourmet kitchen featuring a 6-burner gas range, Sub-Zero refrigerator, Bosch dishwasher, and everything needed to prepare meals for family and friends. Stunning property. The home has a lot of character and very beautifully decorated. Absolutely love the Native Culture accents throughout the home. Extremely charming front and backyard. A lot of privacy with mountain views which I greatly appreciated. Taos is an extremely charming and friendly town. Enjoyed breakfast and steak locally. I definitely recommend and most likely would love to visit again during winter time! 10 stars!

This is a 5 start home with quality furnishings, well stocked kitchen, and beautiful property. Owner’s attention to detail rarely seen in other places I’ve stayed and her response to a few questions I had were immediate. Don’t forget to enjoy the many birds that frequent the property.

We loved this house so much so we decided to stay here again! The property is amazing, has every amenity you need, and Allison provides a very detailed book with information on restaurants and activities. We definitely want to see it again in the Spring/Summer.

We are a family of five, and this was a fantastic home for us. We spent two nights here during our week-long travels through New Mexico. Everyone agreed that those two nights were their best nights of sleep. There was a warm, welcoming and beautifully decorated common area for times we wanted to be together, and the bedrooms were arranged such that there was plenty of space to spread out, relax and enjoy some alone time. It was easy to cook in the kitchen, and the laundry machine and dryer were a welcome asset. The host was kind and informative, and the house was conveniently located to local attractions. I highly recommend this property.

the home and the property were beautiful! the property was exactly as advertised. the hostess was prompt, attentive, and helpful. my wife and i celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary with our two sons and their wives. (also, one 2 year old grandchild.) we all had our own bedrooms with dedicated bathrooms. the home was well constructed, quiet, and beautifully decorated. we cooked a lot; the kitchen was well equipped. the home was located minutes away from the town. we will definitely go back if the opportunity arises. fantastic property!!

Lovely stay about 10 min from town. Everything was very well appointed - comfortable beds, stocked kitchen, high-quality furnishings, beautiful and expansive landscaped yard and plenty of outdoor seating. This house is so clean and beautifully decorated. If you’re looking for an immaculate true SW adobe feel in a secluded garden with gorgeous mountain views this is the home!! Allison was so responsive and gracious. Can’t say enough about this property. Will be back for sure!!

I can't possibly describe how wonderful this house is! The location is great - out of the busyness of Taos but convenient to restaurants, shopping and other outings. The house itself is gorgeous - from the entryway, which welcomed us with hanging baskets of flowers (and hummingbirds), to the interior, which is furnished artfully - more like a home than a rental - with tasteful selections at every turn. The bedrooms are huge and comfortable, with charging stations on the nightstands and other thoughtful items in the large bathrooms, like q-tips and moisturizer. We especially enjoyed the locally produced Bison Star Naturals body wash, shampoo and conditioner provided in each bath. The kitchen, while small, is furnished with upscale appliances and is ready for you to make meals, not just heat up take-out! The outdoor seating areas were a favorite spot - excellent for enjoying the cool mornings and mild evenings of summer; we relaxed in those spaces quite a bit during our 2 week stay. As birdwatchers, we were delighted with the bird feeders and fountain, which drew an amazing number of birds. The little office was convenient for ducking away from others to squeeze in an occasional zoom meeting. Internet was easy and worked well. The many light switches are labeled - just one of the many bits of attention to detail that made our stay easy and enjoyable. Allison, the host, was incredibly helpful and responsive. We're already making plans to return next summer.

23 Buena Vista was a lovely stay. The main outdoor space was where we spent most of our time as it's covered and has comfortable seating and a fireplace, view of the mountains and a peaceful, enclosed yard. We could hear the wind rustling in the trees at night and the yipping of coyotes. The birdlife is abundant and there is food to put out for them at the house. The master is separate from the other 2 bedrooms, and all of the bathrooms were very clean and well kept. The house is situated close to town and at the end of a road. We felt safe but also secluded. Upscale and comfortable!

Texas Winter Vacation

Stunning house inside and outside with everything you could desire. Amazing neighborhood, beautifully landscaped 2 acre lot in a great location, with incredible Mountain views. No detail was spared. Obsessed with furniture and decor! 10-15" inches of white powder snow creating a white winter wonderland during our trip. We will definitely return!

Fabulous property

The pictures do not give the property justice . The grounds are covered with fresh landscaping, flowers and mature conifers that provide a sense of privacy. Yet the views extend for miles. Don't miss the sunsets and sunrises for maximum impact. All the birds brighten the surroundings.The spaces inside are grand with copious art work and comfortable furniture. The kitchen is well appointed with serving dishes, pots, pans and utensils for cooking.My wife and I look forward to next year!

I have been renting high end vacation homes for years, for family gatherings. This oasis is in my top 3. We will be back and for longer. It is perfect for my outdoorsy, fun-loving family! We took several hikes and runs in the great weather. We love food and cooking together and this well appointed kitchen fills the bill. We love enjoying time outside together and this space is perfect. Also between the many outside sitting areas (including the massive covered porch with the fireplace for cool mornings), the many bird feeders frequented by many species of birds and the hot tub we wiled away time visiting and soaking up the serenity. I saw a Rufus Humming bird!It is clear the owner of this property loves ambience as much as we do! The landscape, plants, decorations, lighting and art are delightful. So many occurrences of attention to detail. Allison, the host, was wonderfully attentive. We are already trying to get schedules sorted for another booking.

A Slice of Paradise in the Desert!

Our two adult sons and one son’s fiancé stayed here with my husband and I for a few days in early June. This house was perfect for our family to spend precious, joyous time together and find private time apart to unwind after outdoor adventures together (like white water rafting!) It’s so rare to find a vacation rental with sufficient, comfortable seating for five (and more) on the patio, at the dinner table, and front of the TV. Although this was the *first* vacation when nobody even turned the TV on, it was nice to know we could have watched a movie together without rearranging anything. The view of the mountains from the covered patio at any time of day, the patio’s fireplace at night, the varieties of birds that visited the many bird feeders around the yard, the lovely landscaping, the hot tub, and the fantastic number of stars at night kept us outside for most of our waking hours at this house. When we finally yielded and went to sleep each night, the beds were wonderfully comfortable.The location was so quiet and felt so private! The property sits along an unpaved road, which is off another unpaved road, so traffic through the neighborhood was almost nonexistent. The nearest neighbors were absolutely silent, so it was like we were staying in a remote location on our own, and yet, we were only a few minutes’ drive away from stores and restaurants. We made so many sweet memories in just a few days in this lovely home. I highly recommend staying here!

After selling our home in Utah we decided to buy another home in Taos. There is so much to love about Taos - you can ski, bike, hike, bird, fish, the list goes on and on....I love the people in this town, they are laid back and have a deep love of the culture and traditions of the region.
