Whistler was Great!

Having skied dozens of resorts, Whistler/Blackcomb is at the top of the list. This condo was well located at bottom of Blackcomb. Short walk with equipment to the slope down tot he gondola. Short drive into town.

MTB vacation

Very nice home. Close to the hill. Stayed 8 days, lots of mountain biking with a little hiking. The AC was a nice added touch in the living room. Thank you Steve

Family skiing vacation

First time in Whistler and this place is a great location. True ski-in ski-out and shuttle to Whistler Village worked fabulous. We had 4 adults and 3 kids. The place was great. We would stay here again.

Great experience

Loved our stay at the Mountain Star. Debbie is a lovely host, kind and helpful. The condo is well situated, with ski-in/ski-out access and a quick hop to the village via the free #5 shuttle bus. I highly recomment.

Great family getaway

Great ski in out and was a totally relaxing stay. No major issues except it's time for a new stove.

Spacious well-equipped townhome

Easy check in. Comfortable, spacious and clean townhome. Beautiful living area with fireplace, TV, DVDs and board games. Only downside was the unit was very cold when we arrived for our first night when it was -15 C degrees outside. That was remedied early the next morning after a phone call to the manager who promptly brought over a couple of space heaters. Warning—the unit is up a couple flights of exterior stairs which makes loading and unloading your vehicle a little more challenging than being at grade or having an elevator.

Great location for everything Whistler

Quiet, close to upper village. There is a shuttle, but we walked back and forth to the village along the Blackcomb lift every day. Great summer vacation spot!

Reviewer Comments: We came to Whistler during probably the hottest week they've been through in a while, and despite the fact that there is no air conditioning, the owner, Debbie, did everything she could to make our stay as pleasant as possible. Absolutely terrific customer service! What we liked - comfortable beds, clean condo, attentive owner. What we ran into which I feel confident will be taken care of - issues with the downstairs tv's (didn't work), washer/dryer (owner was getting a maintenance person over there the day we left and we arranged a workaround for this during out stay no problem), more utensils and kitchen items needed which have been noted. Overall, it was a good experience and we wouldn't hesitate staying at #5 Mountain Star again and working with Debbie. Customer service goes a long way with us.

Cosy and quiet with mountain views- absolutely fantastic

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My family and I stayed here for 12 days over Christmas, and we loved it. Leading up to our stay, the communication from Debbie was very friendly and professional, she was very easy to contact and made sure that we had all of the information that we needed. The house was very clean on arrival. The house is very spacious for 4 adults, but also very cosy and welcoming with beautiful mountain views from the lounge/dining/kitchen area. The hot tub out the back is perfect after a day skiing. The location is perfect, on a nice quiet street and only a short bus ride into Whistler village. The slopes were really easy to access, particularly if you want to ski Blackcomb, but also very easy to access the gondola over to Whistler. The bus stop to get into Whistler village is only about 100 metres walk (if that), and the bus runs about every 10 minutes, so it is very easy to get into the village. I would recommend this place to anyone, and would definitely stay here again. Thank you for helping to make our white Christmas in Whistler such a wonderful and memorable occasion.

The ski in / ski out element & shuttle were pleasant surprises in regards to convenience. I knew it was a "short walk" to the mountain trail to pop on Blackcomb, but was a very short walk - just down the driveway and then a 50-100 yard walk max. The village shuttle also picks up immediately down the driveway.
