Amazing vacation house in the perfect location

The property is spacious and incredibly comfortable and well-appointed. The bedrooms are a good size, there's storage, and the beds are comfortable. Showers are great too (one indoor and one outdoor). You have many seating/socializing options as there's a living room, dining area, and a screened in porch that can function as another room if needed. It's close to all in a lovely area and still quiet and private. We loved the back deck and also, because this was a hot cape summer, the central air that perfectly cooled the house. We were able to enjoy being together and also had enough space to enjoy privacy. I want to mention that because of an email snafu that was no one's fault, we weren't able to get into the house upon arrival. The rental agency was SO HELPFUL and incredibly responsive to address and solve the issue within 10 minutes. I was really impressed with their professionalism and concern which enabled us to start enjoying our vacation right away. I've stayed at the cape for over a decade and this house was the best one yet. I hope to be able to return next year and stay here! If you have the opportunity to stay in Harwichport, this is the house for you.

Cape Week!

Great cottage! Was actually bigger than it looked in the pictures. Totally comfortable and perfectly set up for renters. Kitchen had everything- including a huge lobster pot. Beds were comfortable. Outdoor shower was refreshing. Would definitely stay here again.

Nice vacation home for the family

The home worked out well for our family for our Harwich vacation. The bunks and trundle were good for the kids and we liked the air-conditioned (central air!!) porch for the grown-ups so we could hang out without disturbing the sleeping little ones. The shed was great for bike storage and the surrounding neighborhood was nice and quiet. Roughly 1-1.5 mile to rail trail and Red River beach as advertised. Nice short drive to Harwichport. Few things could have been better.. 1) The home was not as clean as we expected when we arrived (floors not vacuumed/washed, hair in bath tub). 2) Washer/dryer too small for bed linens or beach towels. Overall, its a great home and we had a lovely stay!

Relaxing hide away

The cottage was close to town but tucked off route 28. The cottage was true the pictures. The beds were uncomfortable and the furniture was dated. All in all we had a relaxing week.

Great Cape Escape!

We had a lovely vacation. The house was perfect for our family and being able to play in the yard was an added bonus! Short drive to the beach and downtown. We enjoyed our stay and can't wait to come back next year!

Tornado proof rental😀

Yes we rented the week of the tornado! Sadly, the deck umbrella did not make it, but the house stood strong! I am a very experienced renter in this area. This house is a beautiful Cape rental. Lots of thought was put into every corner of this welcoming home! I had actually rented this house before in ~1990’s and the updates to the property are wonderful. Beds are comfy...fit myself, husband and 4 kids perfectly. Plenty of space to spread out. Listing doesn’t mention outside shower (a must for the Cape!). Also doesn’t mention shed access with beach chairs, toys, extra propane for grill...great storage for sandy items from the beach you don’t want in the house! Kitchen has everything you need. Plenty of games/books for everyone. Fenced in backyard...great for kids! Owners also provide an extensive book on everything you need to know about the area...from info on the house, local restaurants, things to do, to the history of Harwich! I’ve rented in this area for years and learned quite a bit! I would highly recommend this clean, well maintained, very “Capey” house in a nice quiet neighborhood.

Very positive experience. The cottage was great!

The cottage was very clean and fully stocked with everything we would need. It was more spacious inside than the pictures showed. They had a great welcome book that gave details about the cottage as well as places to go such as shopping, dining, beaches etc. This property is very private if that's what you are looking for.
