Callender Lake Cabin near Canton Trade Days and Artsy Edom,TX
This is a nice country cabin with 2 bedroom, 1 bath, a carport, and a fenced yard. It is located on 2 lots about one block from the waters of beautiful Callendar Lake. Our guest are welcome to go over to the lake and enjoy the fishing docks, swimming area, and boat ramp.
Inside the cabin, there is a full size living room with open access to a combined dining area and kitchen. The dining area has a large family table that seats 6 and a small bar that is great for children or putting together puzzles. The kitchen is fully furnished with all utensils, dishes, and kitchenware and is equipped with a full size refrigerator and stove. The master bedroom has a king size bed and the second bedroom has a queen bed. There is also a air mattress for an extra guest if needed. The bathroom is centrally located near both bedrooms and has a full size bathtub and shower combo. The Laundry Room is complete with full size washer, dryer, iron, and ironing board if you should need them. The cabin has a new Central Heat and Air and also has ceiling fans in every room even though the AC is plenty cool. There are also a few fans…just in case you like the sound of fan to help you sleep. We provide Sling Tv with Roku and WIFI!
Outside, There are 2 great porches. On the front there is a large porch with rocking chairs for sitting and watching the squirrels and on the back is smaller porch for hanging out as you cook burgers on the charcoal grill that is provided. There is extra lot with a fire ring for relaxing by a bon fire at night, playing games during the day, and provides parking for everyone.
The Callendar Lake Community has a Swimming area that is open Memorial Day through Labor Day. The lake has a public Covered fishing pier and a children's park with a fishing dock. It also has a boat ramp for guys that bring a boat.
Decorated like a woodland cottage, it has a quiet and peaceful environment. It is fully furnished. Ready to enjoy.
Garbage - There are trash cans in the bathrooms and in the kitchen. When you take trash out, there is a larger trash can outside or bags can be taken to the dumpsters up at the entrance.
For long term stays, There are garbage dumpsters up at the entrance of the neighborhood to empty the trash cans into or to take bagged trash to. They empty these weekly.
