Outdoor Adventure HQ Lakes, Trails, Hunt, Fish

Bring your toys to this 1200 sq.ft. home, with an attached 1000 sq. ft. insulated garage. Entertainment regardless of the weather. This home is very close to 6000+acres of public land. Several lakes just minutes away, you can ride your ATVs or snowmobiles to the Wild River Trail system. Great fishing locally as well as in the Musky Capital Hayward lakes and Chippewa Flowage. Large insulated garage with a wood burning furnace to unwind and hang out, after your outdoor adventures. The garage includes air hockey, ping pong, bag toss, Jumbo Jenga, ladder toss, and many other outdoor games. Games and DVDs are also available for entertainment inside the cabin.

2 bedrooms and a bunk room. The Master with 1 queen bed, 2nd bedroom with 1 queen bed and the bunk room with 2 bunk beds (twin bunks, 1 full/twin bunk) and 1 queen futon. (7 total beds) The bathroom features a shower and a hair dryer for your convenience. This cozy retreat is perfect for families or friends looking for a comfortable stay.

Other amenities include AC, WiFi, washer/dryer, fire pit, screened in porch, towels, and wash clothes, pots, pans, crock pot, air fryer, microwave, coffee pot, toaster, dishes, silverware, storage containers, and simple seasonings. Starter items include toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, hand soap, q-tips, cotton swabs, dish sponge, washing machine pods, and dryer sheets (hypoallergenic).

Grocery and convenient stores are close for other essentials. We are happy to assist with any questions while you stay in our home. See our welcome book for information on places to visit and write in the visitors journal to tell everyone about your stay. Limited to 8 guests, no pets, no parties.

All used bed sheets, pillow cases and towels must be placed in the dirty clothes bins, there is one in each closet of the two Queen bed rooms. Bins should be placed in the garage.
All trash must be collected and placed in the bin in the garage, garbage bags are located under the sink. If you make a mess in the garage please sweep it out.
All dishes must be washed, dried, and put back in their original location, before checkout. All windows and doors must be locked and all blinds and curtains closed.

Please, no joy riding on the property or up and down the dirt road, in front of the cabin. Be respectful of the permanent neighbors.

No hunting, or use of firearms on the property, there is a firing range available in Minong off 77 East side of town (free).

Host was prompt, communicative and easy to work with. Property was as expected although the photos I didn't feel did a great job of showing the whole place. I'd rent here again in a heartbeat. Anyone looking for an escape into the Northwoods and sands will love the privacy and access to everything offered nearby.

The owners were SO fantastic and helpful with a mishap when my original booking was 3rd party through Expedia. Thankfully they were amazing and let me cancel that reservation with a full refund and rebook straight through VRBO. The house was as described, the only complaint was from two of my bandmates that the garage was pretty warm and thermostat was locked at 75 and the weather was 100 degrees.

There was a mix up on the day which was my fault but that got taken care of and Amanda took care of that for us. Lots of room, easy to find. Loved the fire pit and outdoor space. We had two service dogs, which we didn’t know they weren’t allowed. However I always pick on VRBO pet friendly and this one came up in the list. These dogs are super well behaved, no furniture, never potty in side and are NEVER left. Which we were charged extremely high for having. The property was left as good as we found it. No deep cleaning was necessary. So no we won’t stay there again, but yes I would recommend it.

Thank you for your response. Our listing clearly states we do not take pets, when we were notified of two dogs being at the property, I contacted you. You informed me that one of the dogs was for your husband that has Alzheimers and was a service dog. The second dog was your grandsons pet dog. Therefore, instead of asking you to leave, we charged a $175 fee for the animal that was not a service dog. Our listing clearly states no pets.

We purchased this property as a second home for our family vacations. We visit frequently the and love the area and the ability to do everything we enjoy doing outdoors. We have lovely neighbors and enjoy our wooded lot. Our home sits on 3.8 acres, with 3 acres of the lot being wooded.

Our neighbors are very quiet, with very few full time residence. Our year-round neighbors are very friendly and quiet.

Our property is unique because of the location near several lakes, ATV trails, public land, rivers, parks, and the large garage to use during your downtime. Enjoy the garage space no matter the weather or bring all of you large toys to enjoy during your stay. We also have a large firepit and a screened in porch to enjoy during your stay. If you are bringing a trailer our driveway is large enough to back in and out and allow for the trailer to sit without interfering with parking.
