Terrible place ! No ac in the main living room , never came to fix it , pool is dirty, no water pressure in shower or toilet ! No restaurants were open ! Don’t make the mistake I made ! Move on !

The kitchen/refrigerator was adequate, the air conditioning in the living room was broken and we had to leave before someone came to repair it ! Extremely hot and uncomfortable! The pool was dirty and the chlorine dispenser was broken ! The bedroom door which was outside of the pool area had a large hole in , repaired with black tape ! The shutters were broken, and the bedroom lights did not work ! Bathroom NO water pressure for a shower and toilet did not refill ! Overall we left early lost our hard earned money and would no recommend this place or the management!

Uniquely Placed Space

When I arrived, I unlocked and walked in a beautiful home. Mine for the next 5 to 6 days. Mérida gets hot. The AC in the living room and bedroom kept it cool. Dropped off New 3 Gallon H20The mini pool for dipping and light swim was nice. The kitchen has a long fridge and that help me keep healthy choices avaliable at a temperature that's perfectly perfect. The bed - Perfect Shower light rain and hot water..Communication with the owners perfectThe space allows for privacy. Neighborhood quite and clean. Neighbors also quiet. The restaurant next door expensive and good if you have no time to get groceries first. Aki .3 .5 walk away. Very close and the markets across the steet from that. If you oxxo it is on the corner not far. Yoga classes offered around the corner every day at 7am. Then another option around the other corner for 530pm yoga. What a spectacular solitude. I'll come again for sure. Thank you to the entire team, for all the work you have put in. Anything that did not work, you fixed and smoothly. This happened because of you alls stellar communication. When we arrived on a Friday the AC was out in the main living area and there was no water in the shower. The rooftop water tank appeared to be leaking onto and over the roof splashing down in front of the bedroom door. We contacted the host and after a couple of wasted hours were told that nobody could look at the problems until Monday. The host offered to let us cancel the reservation which we did. As it was now later in the day we ended up at a hotel around the corner and we had to give our groceries away as we couldn’t now use them. I eventually did get a refund after a bit of prodding, but was then told by the host that we hadn’t properly cancelled and we were still going to be out other fees we had paid to stay at the property. A previous reviewer a week or so earlier had also mentioned the AC being out and being part of the reason for their leaving the property. In one of the cupboards in the kitchen area I noticed a replacement shower faucet assembly so it seems that someone may have known there was an issue with the shower but not gotten around to fixing it prior to our arrival. The property itself has a bit of an unusual floor plan - the only bathroom is accessed through the bedroom which is a building separate from the rest of the unit. The AC in the bedroom was working, but the bedroom had a bit of a musty smell. Nothing too horrible, a similar odor to many budget motel rooms I’ve stayed in.
