Welcome to the A-frame at Finch Creek, a one-of-a-kind Northern Michigan getaway overlooking Finch Creek and completely surrounded by the Grass River Natural area. This newly renovated cabin features 20 ft. vaulted ceilings, large picture windows, an indoor fireplace, and is close to some of the most beautiful lakes in the entire state.

Spanning 1,400 square feet of thoughtfully designed living space, the a-frame comfortably accommodates up to 6 guests and is perfect for couples, families, or small groups seeking a memorable retreat. Key features include:

main level: two bedrooms—one with a king bed and the other with a queen bed—paired with two full bathrooms. The main level also features a cozy living room with a gas fireplace and Frame TV, a fully stocked kitchen, a dining area with a custom bench stocked with board games, and a washer and dryer.

loft: an inviting queen bedroom with scenic views of the A-frame’s vaulted ceilings and natural surroundings.

outdoor space: unwind in the luxurious 7-person hot tub, gather around the fire pit, or enjoy the peace and serenity of finch creek just steps away.

note: the a-frame is listed for 6 guests to ensure maximum comfort. If you’d like to book for 8 guests and are comfortable using the included air mattress, please reach out to us before booking.

Guests will have the entire place to themselves. There's a detached garage and partial basement that will remain locked during the stay. Electronic Code Access provided day of check-in.

Other things to note
due to the cabin's remote location, we use Starlink for our internet. It usually provides high-speed access, but may sometimes experience brief interruptions.

there is one exterior security camera on the property by the garage. These are for us to verify cleaners and handymen have prepared the property for your stay.

The loft offers an additional bedroom with a queen bed.

Located conveniently between Bellaire and Alden, the a-frame sits on a bluff overlooking Finch Creek and is completely surrounded by the beautiful cedars and pines of the grass river natural area. Hiking trails just a minute away. Torch Lake and Lake Bellaire are both approximately 5 minutes away. Shanty Creek Resort, featuring six excellent golf courses and Schuss Mountain are just 8 minutes away. Downtown Bellaire, home to Short’s Brewery, Mammoth Distillery, and more, is a quick 10-minute drive from the A-frame. Popular Northern Michigan cities such as Charlevoix, Petoskey, Boyne City, and Traverse City are all within an hour's reach.

We have plenty of parking and space for up to 4 vehicles.
