Very Relaxing

This is definitely were you want to be to unwind and just be you. Very private, breakfast feelsime you are family. Minutes from downtown and the hubbub, but far enough to keep things tranquil.

Quiet Chiang Mai Retreat

Although the property could be a bit tidier and was not spotless the Pool was excellent, the hosts could not do more to help and arranged great transfer to/from airport. Also the Elephant camp trip and cooking class they booked were truly excellent. The property is a bit ramshackle but the hospitality, pool and breakfast were top shelf.

Lovely Garden Setting

The property was not where it was showing on the map within the app and at first was a bit disappointed however the location proved to be a good central position a little out of the hustle and bustle but close enough which was perfect for my stay. Very comfortable and friendly helpful staff. I very much enjoyed my time.

Enchanted stay at the Enchanted Garden Bungalows

Communication was outstanding. Constant communication for arrival details, a very warm welcome from Staff. The grounds are a mini paradise. Local market and an on-site yummy restaurant, free breakfast with fresh local fruit. You can ride the motorbikes if you need it. There are two pools with 24hour access and they are very nice. It’s in a nice quiet area of Chiang Mai. For sure this will be my home away from home. 100/10 recommend this beautiful place.

Fabulous experience. The pool is amazing but the hosts are the standout super hero’s. We extended our stay cause we loved it so much. Comfortable beds. Wonderful food nearby. It’s a little outside of Chiang Mai but they rent scooters for affordable rates and grab is cheap. Stay here! You won’t regret it!

Great place with more to come I am sure, I hope to come back to see the progress, the massage area is amazing and the pool (although pretty cold even in January) is so beautiful and the whole area is very tasteful. Note : the water pressure in the shower and especially the shower head would gain to be replaced in bungalow 1. Thank you again !

Secluded bungalows, privacy Paradise, tropical gardens

Various tropical garden plants surround the property creating a lush private paradise just on the outskirt of Chiang Mai. The saltwater pool is great for soaking in some rays on a hot day or a use the cold water smaller pool for really hot days! Very therapeutic and will cool you right off in an instant. Wanchai and Steve are great hosts and will try to do anything to make sure you have a good stay. They are very attentive. If you're not feeling like making something to eat in the small kitchen in the unit, you can go next door to the restaurant. Very good Thai food at very reasonable prices. Additionally, there's a little market and some other close by stores that are handy. Overall I had a great lodging experience and definitely would go back next time I'm in Chiang Mai.

Great place to stay

We had a wonderful time. Beautiful garden setting with the sounds of waterfalls all over the property. Amazing service and a great breakfast every morning. The staff and owner takes the best care of you. They were there to offer help any time you needed it. We can’t wait to come back again. There is a restaurant next door which made it very easy to get dinner. The food is outstanding there too. We had a really wonderful time staying at Enchanted Gardens and we would highly recommend staying there. Also there is a very nice pool, and bicycles to use if you choose. Steve was waiting to welcome us with loads of information. The kindest, nicest, people will be at your service.

Nice getaway

Enchanted Gardens was an excellent place to hide away from the rest of world. As my trip did not go as planned, I could pick a better place to relax. Steve and Wanchai were absolutely wonderful ensuring I had everything I needed. They greeted me at the airport with beautiful flowers, helped me get settled, and even cooked me some amazing rice soup that helped settled my upset stomach. Having the restaurant right next door that served excellent food was a life saver. The bungalows are far enough from town that you don’t hear traffic but close enough to easily hop a grab to get quickly to city center. I would stay here again if I ever get back to Thailand. Thanks again Steve and Wanchai for all your help!

Charming but needs a lot of updating

On the whole we had a lovely relaxing stay. Wanchai and Steven were great, very accomodating and friendly. Wanchai picked us up from our previous hotel, which was very kind. He organised massages for us and would have done more if we had wanted to be more active. Location was very good for us because it was quiet, with easy access to a small town, lots of little local shops/places to eat. Although bikes were available FOC, they did some maintenance. There looked to be some newer chalets behind the pool, we had number 1. This is by no means a criticism, just how we experienced our stay. The chalet was very tired and needed maintenance, the furniture was tatty, the shower was not good, the towels were not renewed in 6 days, the beds were only made 3 times and the loo paper wasn't emptied every day from the bin provided. The pool was a good size, however the sun beds were ancient and too heavy to move around, they were covered in some sort of plastic protector, which had certainly seen better days. The gardens were nice but needed maintenance. A simple breakfast was included, the fruit was superb. Overall, it was good value for money and as said above, we enjoyed the time there. We wouldn't go back to No 1, but would probably go back to one of the newer chalets at the back.

Highlight of Chiang Mai

Where do I start, the owners and workers were just so helpful and accommodating. We felt so welcomed and well looked after at the enchanted garden bungalows. It’s a little beautiful oasis 20minute drive from Chiang Mai city in a little town showing you an authentic part of Thailand. Perfect spot to relax and unwind. The main pool is incredibly beautiful and there’s a little pool by the kitchen that is cold and refreshing. We will most definitely be back for another stay, this was our highlight of our whole trip. Thanks Wanchai and Steve!

Paradise with a pool

My husband and I stayed there for a total 14 days and we were thrilled with the bungalow and location. Perfectly situated out of Chiang Mai with convenient access to local markets and street restaurants. Wanchai our host exceeded all our expectations being nothing short of kind, generous and thoughtful. He and his staff attentively looked after us. The pool was devine too.

Thai Eden

We are on a two year, around the world trip. Thailand was one of the countries we wished to experience in a deeper way than just seeing tourist sites. The month we spent at Enchanted Garden Bungalows allowed us to do just that. EGB is close enough the the amazing 'old town' section of Chiang Mai that we could easily get there any time we wished. And yet ECB seemed like a world away from urban hustle and bustle. Frankly, we probably saw less of northern Thailand than we originally planned because we were so completely happy staying on the property. Our time here allowed us to experience a more local feel in an atmosphere of complete tranquility. We loved it. If you need to be 'close to the action' and within walking distance of the wonders of old Chiang Mai, it is not the place for you. But if you want to experience authentic Thai culture in an Eden-like setting, I would highly recommend Enchanted Garden Bungalows.

I WILL RETURN TO....Enchanted Gardens

My experience was positive from the very beginning when I was inquiring about Enchanted Gardens. Janie responded right away answering lots of my questions and even giving me advice on questions I had about Chiangmai. I cannot begin to tell you how helpful she was. She even contacted me a few times before my stay. She arranged pick up by the owner directly at my school which was a ways away. My stay was even better. Wanchai brought me one of his favorite soups from the market which was yummy. I had an amazing massage, enjoyed laying by the pool, and loved going to the village to buy dinner and some new clothes. Overall, I absolutely loved the Enchanted Gardens....the gardens, waterfalls, and pools were delightful. I will be back!!! Deb

Cozy Bungalows in a lush tropical setting.

This bungalow has so much character. Being located just outside of the city it is a relaxing escape from the hustle and bustle. But the city is easily accessible in just a few minutes. What really sets this property apart is the great hospitality shown by Wanchai, Pamela and Steve. Above and beyond to ensure all of your needs are met in regards to excursions or you comfort. Personally took us to Thai boxing among other things. Really felt like home.

Amazing Experience

Wanchai and Steve are incredible hosts and the property is simply beautiful! We were greeted at the airport with a flower welcome and driven to the property in a charming traditional village just outside of Chiang Mai. It gave us a chance to see local Thai culture first hand and we were really made to feel at home. Our bungalow was comfortable and the gardens, pools and waterfalls are beautiful. Everyone was so kind and friendly! We were sorry we had to leave so soon and hope to visit again! If you want a truly unique experience don't pass up the chance to stay here! Great ambiance with fantastic hosts

Jennie and Wanchai went above and beyond to make us comfortable during our stay. The bungalow setting was quiet, private, and comfortable and we enjoyed the pool every evening. Jennie helped arrange a cooking class and elephant experience and both were phenomenal. Wanchai even bought us dinner and brought it to us the night we arrived. Was a great spot to post up in Chiang Mai!
