Great host, super clean house in nice neighborhood. Green line is only 0.6 mile walk, and has parking space. Perfect for larger family wanting to stay near Harvard or MIT

Great stay. Tim is an excellent, responsive host. The apartment is a second-floor walkup, exactly as described. The pictures are accurate and if anything, the apartment is larger than expected. The location was perfect for our needs. Transit, Assembly Square, and the local Stop &Shop are within 10-15 minutes on foot, and the availability of off-street parking is a great find for this neighborhood. The apartment has 1.5 baths, making it easier for larger groups. The kitchen is complete, but if you're big into cooking, you may find the small counter space and lack of a dishwasher limiting. We'll definately stay again.

Weekend sightseeing was great with a good location to do everything on our bucket list!! Clean apt, comfortable beds and great location! Owner was great to work with! I would recommend this location to anyone!

Great location and budget friendly!

Very convenient to Boston and all it has to offer. It was nice to have 3 bedrooms for a family with teenagers. And bonus to have off street parking for our car!

Great location

Stayed here for a week to enjoy Boston and the area. Apt was perfect for a family of 4, even up to 6 or 8. Location was amazing, 20 minute drive to downtown Boston any time of day, and within walking distance of a drug store, brewery, and a few restaurants.

Great location and quiet at night

We enjoyed our stay! It was just the right size for all 6 of us. It was close to everything but quiet at night. The beds were comfortable and the place was clean and cozy. We would stay there again if we came back to the area!

Wonderful stay in Somerville

We had a wonderful stay at Tim and Claudia’s. The property was clean and spacious. They were very responsive and accommodating with our middle of the night arrival. We would definitely stay again if we come back to Boston!

We loved this property. Clean, safe, centrally located.

The host was helpful, available and friendly. We had plenty of space for our family of five. It was the perfect place to stay centrally located in a safe neighborhood . We hope to stay here next time we're in town.

Quick family vacation

We decided to stay here based on it's location to downtown, Salem, and the airport and were surprised by how great it was. Loved the location, the homey feel, and the access to everything we were looking to do. The owners left detailed maps of the area and were quick to respond to specific questions we had. Would recommend this apartment to anyone!!

Best location and great host

Great stay for family

This house was perfect for family stay. Short Uber ride into Boston. But good restaurants and bars within walking distance of front step. Would recommend to friends.

Great Stay

This place is great for families. Great amenities close by and a half mile walk to 2 different T stations(orange and green lines) Entry was easy and communication with the owners was great. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you for an enjoyable week.

Recently retired, I've worked at the Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics for over 30 years, managing the development and installation of telescopes and related equipment around the world. My most recent post was as Director of the Smithsonian's Submillimeter Array on Mauna Kea, Hawaii. I've been involved in other telescopes around the world, such as the Greenland Telescope, a 12m radio telescope operating on the Pituffik Space Base in Greenland. The objective? To image a black hole!
My wife and I bought this home mid-2010's, after the kids moved out and we decided to move back to the city. After working hard to renovate this 3-family, we started renting the second floor to people like us who need short term rentals and would rather not stay in a hotel.

This property is conveniently located just a minute off of I-93 and includes parking spaces. Downtown Boston is within a 10-12 minute drive or you can be headed North to the mountains very easily. Public transportation is all around; bus stops are one street over, the MBTA is less than an 18 minute walk away. Safe! This is a working class, family friendly, safe, area that is just recently getting more college students and Boston commuters. There is a lot of renovation going on in the area due to the escalating home values (check for yourself). Somerville is one of the hottest real estate markets in the US.
